Looks like it's in a holding pattern for a few days, then going on a mystery track. Hopefully it won't cross Florida and end up on the Gulf Coast.

Five straight days of rain and wind but nothing substantial in the way of damage here in the Daytona area.
There's lots of flooding in low-lying areas and beach erosion has been horrendous but other than that, no reports of any power outages or casualties.

Just downgraded to a tropical storm about a half hour ago.
This storm is annoying the hell out of me. It's been a down pour since last night and the power keeps going off and on. But it did get me out of work at noon yesterday and probably won't go back until Friday so I guess I can't complain too much.
It's better than a hurricane I suppose.

The wind is really picking up now too. Estimations are that it will be in the area of about 50-75 mph. There's a huge tree in my front yard and I hope it doesn't blow into my house. That would be bad.

It's all good. It blew up against my neighbors house and it's still sitting there. I'm actually more pissed about the pole breaking than the flag. The flag was pretty worn out and frayed so I needed to replace it anyway and I can do that for about $10. The pole's gonna cost me $20.

My power was going off and on for most of the day yesterday and then somewhere around 7pm I guess it went out for good. It just finally came back on about an hour ago.
I was able to retrieve my Eagles flag up against my neighbor's house however my outside trash can is MIA.
From what I've seen on the news so far this morning, there's some flooding going on around here but luckily not on my street. The main highway heading into town is completely submerged though.
