Looks like Harrington has one last chance with the Lions after all.

Rumors are the Chiefs want him. I've heard they'd give up a future first. Don't know if it's true but I'd deal him there for that in a heartbeat. Tank the season, draft Leinart(a real QB) and then some defense.

Okay, I got it now.

He's saying that the Chiefs want Harrington and would deal a future #1 for him.

He goes on to speculate that the Lions should/will tank the season for the chance to draft Leinart from USC @ #1.

Whew.  My head hurts now.   ???

Chiefs | No Truth to Harrington Talk
Sat, 3 Sep 2005 10:07:42 -0700

The Kansas City Star reports the Kansas City Chiefs have a dicey quarterback situation at the moment, but Detroit Lions QB Joey Harrington is not in their current plans. Chiefs' president/general manager Carl Peterson denied speculation late Friday, Sept. 2, that he had inquired about Harrington, a three-year starter for the Lions who's gone 14-30. "That is absolutely false," Peterson said. Peterson said he was on a call with Lions' president Matt Millen this week for a league matter but there were no discussions about Harrington.

Puts an end to that rumor.

Best G-rated one-liner I've read in a while. Good job.
