Not sure if anyone is watching this, but other than a nice play made initially by Ware, Dallas' D just got shredded on an 80 yard drive. On the other hand, Hasselbeck is looking sharp as hell.
A plastic spoon would look sharp going against Dallas' defense.
Now the rest of the country can watch the Dallas O suck ass for 3 hours. :)
Actually Ware has looked pretty damn good so far.....shame for him everyone else seems to be sucking pretty well. :yay
Just got home from work, nice to have MNF. Even if it is the Cowboys and Seahawks.
Ware apparently looks so good that Dallas fans are already claiming he's got the ROTY in the bag. :-D
Thomas made a sweet cut on that 15 yarder.
Madden declares the Eagles to be the best team in the NFC East, and then goes on to say they are the best in the whole NFC. "Their defense is great," he says.
Ware draws a penalty for off sides, but it's declined because a scrapper WR for the 'Hawks named Urban made a bobbling first down.
And while I'm talking to myself, I like Seneca Wallace. He'll do well in the NFL if he can stay healthy.
Pre-season NFL games make for strange television: Three Seatle coaches (Holmgren, Rhodes, and whatshisname) each have four daughters. 4100 to one odds on that, for you gamblers. And Michelle TaFoya is pregnant. Madden calls the fetus "Buck" when he sees her, as some kind of joke. Brought to you by Coors Light, the official "beer" of the NFL.
Madden is impossible to listen to anymore. I had to turn the game off.
I enjoy Madden's senility. Makes for a fun evening. I'd prefer to hear him ramble instead of listening to Theisman and Maguire.
Seattle's entire team sucks at catching the ball. Even the rookies. It's like the draft guys and sign UDFA's who excel in dropping the ball. "Does this guy drop it? Yep. Sign him."
DeMarcus Ware looks very good. He could very well end up being the DROTY.
Justin Beriault was one of Kiper's sleepers and I can see why - he's good.

Tenacious farger, isn't he? Plays with malice.
Indeed.
Too bad he can't play FS though. Because they need someone to play FS so Horsey Roy can play SS in the box and do what he does best - run support.
Speaking of Mr. Rule Changer - did you notice him going for a horsecollar tackle early on? Alexander ran a cutback play and here comes Roy reaching for the collar.
I only saw the second half, so no, I missed that.
I'm shocked. SHOCKED! to hear that Roy Williams plays sloppy.

Missed that one. This guy is going to be looking at some serious penalty yardage...and it will drive Parcells nuts.

Is Roy Williams going to be the full-time SS this year?

Where did you read that?
I didn't. That's where he started and stayed last night.
There has been a lot of talk about it down here in Texas on sports radio stations.
