McNabb says he needs T.O. to return soon (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/football/nfl/specials/preview/2005/08/22/mcnabb.to.ap/index.html)
Quote"He obviously wants to play and would have played [Saturday], but I didn't think it was a smart thing to do coming off his injury," coach Andy Reid said. "I think that it is good that he gets that timing down."
The Eagles need T.O. to be ready against Atlanta.
Why risk further injury in a meaningless preseason game?
:P

Seems like McNabb is trying to reach out to TO a little.
whats nice is that the superbowl showed that TO unlike most players doesnt fall out of game shape even when not playing games

What about all that nonsense in the elevator between T.O., DMac, and Hugh?

Sounds like the key word here. NO one else heard about it or mentioned it...except for Glazer...and he got it from a person, who heard from a person, who heard from a person.
Should have known. That would have been the biggest news story since 9/11.

Not the first time I've been called a ho.
Lets see... throw ball real hard in the general direction of TO, he catches it. There DMAC, I saved you the need to play with TO before Atlanta.
Heh. Fly on the wall at McNabb and TO's reconciliation:
McNabb: Hello, TO...look, man, we have to get on the same page here and get this thing done--
T.O.: Stop (sniff). Just stop (sob). You had me at hello....you had me at hello...(sniff)

it brought a tear to my eye.

I can kinda see the allure of being a bandwagon Eagles fan....
All this off-season Soap Opera drama doesn't look like its gonna cease anytime soon, matter of fact, it looks to carry on into your season. Yeah I hear the team talk about no distractions or whatever, but we'll see.....
This isn't just a Bengals fan talking either, but...
Are youse guys sick of hearing about Donovan and T.O. bickering back and forth, and T.O.'s antics as the rest of the football world is?

They might actually play better (production wise) the less they talk, and practice together. It's not like either of them are gonna forget what to do. In the Pro Bowl, or coming off injury you get no game experience with guys before they go out there. I realize it would be nice if they were on the same page. I do worry that if they spar all year the team will get divided in some respect. He might poison young players minds w/ his shtein....
not sure where you're going with the bandwagon comment, and this isn't just from an Eagles fan either?
and for the record, i'm not sure if youse is actually a word outside of Bengals country, but i could be wrong, especially when combined with another plural, but hey, this eagles fan could be stupid or something.
no dipshtein we fargin love it really. i mean come on. all these years of getting negative media, whats the difference this year>? negative media rulez man! im sure the bengals get negative media...come on...they do...we all know they should because they stink like bengal poo. i for one love hearing about it...i sit by radio and tv errrr day to hear the newest gossip on TO and McNabby. i am all for sports tabloids, totally!

Actually, the allure of being ANY kind of Eagles fan is that you get to root for a team that wins regularly and has a quality front office and coaching staff. Of course, being from Cincinnati, you would not understand that!
