Ugh oh... This was a little while ago.
Lovie said it's an ankle injury and he'll need x-rays. I hope he's not hurt.
The ankle might be broken and require surgery. This sucks for the Bears. I kinda feel bad for them... if it's broken.
The Eagles can't play McNabb for more than 5 plays in all the preseason games. Nor Westbrook or the receivers. With the TO fiasco we can't afford to lose one weapon.
Fractured leg, out 4 months. Ouch. :-[
Looks like Jeff Blake may've found some gainful employment.
I thought the same thing, Larry. I figure they'll give Blake a call.
They've got Chad Hutchinson, Kyle Orton and Kurt Kittner there now.
Although they could start Orton, who they're high on.
As of now it will be Chad, the front office is (at least publicly) impressed with this kid. Orton is drawing some praise from the local media.
That sucks man, that kid is cursed.
The Florida QB curse continues...
as if Rex Grossman was ever going to be anything other than another hype up joke of a QB. please. just retire and get it over with.
I liked Grossman's attitude.
I can't even begin to tell you how offensive I find your new user name.
I didn't much like you or your posts before this, but this is way over the line.
Here's a big fat farg YOU....

Farging reprehensible. Listen up, bigot: Take the Nazi hate elsewhere; this isn't the Aryan Nation forum. I spit on you.
A jew hater? I'm not an anything hater. I'm sorry if it offended anyone I'm not an anti-semite. I didn't bash jews I just put the word in front of the name rosenhaus because it rhymed and he happened to be jewish. It's not like I trashed jewish people, but I changed it back. Really didn't think it would offend anyone. My friend who I watch football games with is 100% jewish and he thought it was hilarious. I figured if he didn't find it offensive, no one else would. Guess I was wrong.

I don't know how you can say that he never really played a little too soon to pass judgement don't you think? The thing I think that could have made him different is he actually had an arm unlike his predcessors.

nope
I thought they reached when they drafted him to be honest. I do not like Grossman and he's going to be out of a job. Kyle Orton will beat him out next year.
I'm happy for Jeff Blake though. I still wish he was here to be honest.

Yeah, I fail to see how McMahon is a better option. Oh well.

IMO the guys problem has been injuries not talent reminds me a little of a certain gun shot victim we all know. :P
i've been telling bears fans how smart the FO was in drafting Orton. Sure, i friggin hate Purdue but they seemed to at least have a backup plan in case Rex got hurt again. I just didn't expect him to break his ankle. That sucks for the Gross Man, cause Orton's a better QB.

As I live in IL, I'm surrounded by Bears fans as well. None of them could give me a good answer as to why they thought the season is over without Grossman. It's not like he's done anything to prove he could win games anyway. Orton does look like a good QB though.
