link to book (http://www.temple.edu/tempress/titles/1830_reg.html)
comes out early August. If R. Diddy wrote it, it must be good. :afro
Excellent! I've been waiting a long time for something like that to come out! :) :yay
At first I thought you said P. Diddy wrote it. Needless to say, I'm quite disappointed that P. Diddy was not allowed to provide his input. This book sucks.
I'd be willing to bet that P. Diddy will find a way to make a few mil off of this book, whether he wrote it or not.
Well in that case, I'll take 2.
I heard him talking about the book on WIP a little while back and immediately told my wife what I wanted for Christmas. I also asked for this encyclopedia.
Speaking of encyclopedia and the Eagles, I was thinking that FS_64 should contribute to the Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Eagles) entry for the Eagles. It could use some help.
did anyone else think that picture of RD was Steve Spurrier? That wierded me out for a second.

I'm curious about the book though. I'm sure i'll pick up a copy.
im still waiting for the harper le bel biography

Wish I had.......but I'll gladly use it! ;)
Oh, and Dio, thanks for the Wikipedia link. At least I give them credit for trying to set the record straight on the infamous booing of Santa incident, not to mention the role that a few WIP crazies played in booing Donovan McNabb at the 1999 draft. :boom

One of my lowest points as an Eagle fan. Embarassing and pathetic. What talking head orchestrated that gathering of the Manson Family? Didn't he later apologize?
didinger is a genious, he knows so much about football if i had to listen to any ones opinion it would be his

He's still on WIP every single morning. :puke
Yes, he apologized, but will jump on McNabb faster than anyone when he does something wrong.
I won this book at the Hank Fraley Show on Monday night & highly recommend it for any Eagles fan, as it really conveys the history & personality of the previous teams for those who may not have grown up in the area.
I was skimming through it last night & this picture caught my eye. These guys look familiar, I wouldn't want to screw around with them.

BM... I'm not in that photo. I was in D@TL's tent when that was taken.
I couldn't remember holding up a banner with you guys but I figured if you said I was in the shot, I must have been.
Too much 30 year-old scotch for this monkey that afternoon.
:P

:P Aaargh. Being that we we're cold, bundled & barely recognizable, I thought the guy next to me looked like you. I don't even look like me.
Anyway, Die-Hard is on the left, 2 random guys I don't know, me & T_Section.
That's cool, though,..... immortalized forever in what we believe is the greatest sportgs team ever, no matter what the record.....

Oooh, shtein
Here stands eagles faithful, Beermonkey, T_Section, and Die-Hard
hmmm... first Beermonkey is in the Daily News... then he is in the Eagles Encyclopedia. Has Beermonkey seen R Diddys pubes up close?
Rumor has it that in addition to wanting to have Jevon Kearse's manbabies, he is admiring R. Diddy from afar wishing the same.

looks like the old giants fan got the worst of that deal. nice photographer BTW. :yay :-D
That old Giants fan looks like my freshman college roommate, who looked 45 when he was 18 (was great for buying us beer at the time) and was a Giants fan.
Thanks DH, I hated that smelly farger... :yay
