Congrats, man... awesome news.
We are adding a daughter to our family, too (have 2 boys now), and all my buddy who has a daughter told me is "Be careful. It's a real mess down there."
CONGRATS!! ;D
So far my daughter has been easier then my son has been, though she was the first child, and he is competing for time as they say.
I always heard that the cutoff age was about 13:
Before 13, girls are much easier.
After 13, girls are much harder.

What position was the conception achieved in? There is some thought that this can predict the sex of the baby.

Congrats Man. Good luck. Remember lots of gear for christmas :yay
My daughter was born at roughly 6:10 PM. After my wife and the baby got settled in for the night around 8:00, the nurse pulled me aside and told me to go home and get some sleep.
I started to protest thinking that I should be by their side all night long in case anything happened.
She just smiled and said... "no honey, just go home and get some sleep... trust me... you're going to need it."
She was fargin-A right too. Seriously, I think that was the last blissful night's sleep I've had in the past 5 1/2 years. When you have a child in the house, especially one who is an infant and then toddler, you never really sleep soundly.
Congratulations again Mr. Pierce! I know that she will grow up watching quality anime and none of the useless stuff on tv. So, if by age 7 she's able to use a Katana, I wouldn't be the least be surprised. ;)
congrats dpierce!

The katana's only the first step. She'll master the Kamesennin-ryu style of martial arts at 12, like this guy (http://www.dragonballz.com/sagas/big/869.jpg) did, and I plan to have her piloting a Red Alpha (http://www.robotech.com/infopedia/mecha/viewmecha.php?id=21) by 16. For those who haven't seen me around these parts in a while, I'm back in the saddle again. half-crazy from sleep deprivation, but back nonetheless. Danielle's 5 months old now, cute as a button, and daddy's wrapped around her itty bitty pinky finger. She's sitting up, yakking up a storm, trying to put everything she touches into her mouth, y'know...baby stuff. She also has a disturbing habit of placing her fingers as far back into her throat as possible, thus making herself retch. Five months old and she's bulimic already....I blame Paula Abdul. ;)

What the hell is wrong with congratulating someone that is having a baby? I understand if it is a bad situation you don't want to say anything, but if they are happy, it should be ok to be happy for them.
Nothing, if it's genuine and not just piling on because you feel compelled to appear to be nice.
