All day long, I keep being logged out even when I am logged on "forever". Anyone else having this issue?

PG, i have that problem all the time. I can never figure out why. I also get a lot of "session timed out" messages.
Now that this thread is back on topic I'll say that most of the time when I show up on the front page of the forums I appear to be logged out. However, if I click into the forums anyway I'm logged in and I can post most of the time. Every once in a while it tosses its cookies though and doesn't accept a post on those occasions that I make more than one. It almost always accepts it the second time though. :)

i have the same problem....not that it's much of a problem.
when i first access the front page, it says welcome guest....prompts me to log in, etc. but as soon as i click on something, it shows that i'm logged in.
weird, i guess...but i was eventually gonna click on something anyway so it doesn't really bother me. ;D

Happens to me quite a bit but because I can just hit refresh and get logged in, I haven't really been bothered by it. It only takes me a couple of extra seconds before I can begin posting. The only thing that really annoys me is getting the "session verification failed" message while I'm trying to post a message. Then I have to refresh a couple of times and sometimes log out and then log back in. It only happens at home though....never at work. ???
So you're saying that you are still having the "logged out" problem? I'm not talking about the session verification, or the timeout thing.
Yeah, whenever I come onto the board I am not logged in. But I don't have to actually enter my user name and password, I just have to hit refresh or open a thread and I'm magically logged in. I don't know if you consider that a problem or not. It's not a big inconvenience but at the same time I know the board isn't supposed to work that way.
What's the address you use when you first jump on the board? Or if you're using a bookmark, the address from that.
I finally decided to play with the addresses myself to see if that was a problem. Turns out it is. If you use http://concretefield.com/forum to get to the board it takes you to http://www.concretefield.net/forum. The board considers it's address to be http://www.concretefield.com/forum, so once you click any link from http://www.concretefield.net/forum it will take you to www.concretefield.com/forum.
Confused yet? Try those links and see if it happens to you.
I noticed that if I use just http://www.concretefield.com/forum it takes me to a cached page, with no login (it shows CJSuperPool as the latest registrant). If I add the index.php, it goes to the right place.
You want to add a redirect that pushes both http://concretefield.com/forum and http://www.concretefield.com/forum right to http://www.concretefield.com/forum/index.php?

All done. That should take care of it now.
It didn't work for me. My bookmark is: http://www.concretefield.com/board/index.php and it now goes right to http://www.concretefield.net/forum/index.php after a redirect.
I edited index.php on the /board directory...and now it points to http://www.concretefield.com/forum/index.php on the redirect.
Is this a glitch in the software, or something else?
