please pick one of the cities below. Someone else not involved with the CFFFL has numbered each city which will correspond to the draft position you will be picking. Once someone picks a city that one cannot be picked again. I will take whatever city hasnt been picked.
NY
Chicago
Philly
LA
Pheonix
Miami
St Louis
Charlotte
Pittsburgh
Denver
umm...give me Philly. ;D
denver
I'll take Phoenix...because it's spelled wrong and sticks out. ;)
Damn you...I wanted Phoenix. Murp...I want my pick to be 4/5 so just gimme one of those cities. ;)
If I have to pick one...I'll take Miami since my Dad is a Miami fan, they suck that's to Ricky Williams, they have AJ, and Will Smith (from Philly) wrote a song about it.
ill take pittsburgh, yaaaarrrr!
Chicago
Charlotte

So when is the draft going to be?? I leave today at 4:30 PM CST and start a new job on 07/26/04. As this is with a new company, I doubt I'm going (or will be able) to take the liberty to access the internet that I currently do.
Unfortunately, I do not yet have i-net access at home either. :-\ :-[ :-X
Guess we may be waiting for a while. Ahh well. No rush i guess.
WTF!
if Thawk isnt around we cant draft anyway, so be patient until i decide to get impatient and give him the #1 pick he wants overall... Trotter. ;D
Probably work out faster in the long run as long as he provides a list.
Didn't thawk say he wasn't going to lose his ability to come on here for awhile, and that's when we talked about him sending a very long list to you MURP? Maybe that has started and it may be awhile before we here from him. There is no rush to get this done, although I'm sure we're all anxious it's not that important to get it done now. Someone needs to go look in that original CFFFL thread and see what thawk said about losing internet capabilities or something.
Here is the quote from Thawk:

Does anyone have his email?

Not me - I'm special.
I'll take St. Louis because New York stinks like KoRn's mom's cavernous kOrNhole.
You don't strike me as the BlackBerry type.

T-retard. Feel free to do a search on BlackBerry. Long story short, it's wireless, hand-held e-mail.

lol. I didnt number it. It was just karma that you got last pick. ;D
Eh...there are worse things than back to back picks. Better that than stuck in the middle. That's the way I'll rationalize it, anyway.

When you are at a new job, you can have the liberty to check your email throughout the day, but not have the ability to spend hours checking a message board. There is a difference you know. ;)

I personally like drafting where I am. Picks are closer together meaning you don't have to wait forever to make a selection. It's also VERY useful in the 1st round since there are about 10-15 "studs" and it makes the decision easier since some guys will be gone. Plus you can grab 2 stud RBs or a QB/RB that are sure to produce.

Yeah it is better to be at the top or bottom IMO. At the top you can get someone like Peyton Manning, at the bottom you can get really 2 first rounders.

lmao.
I guess everyone wants to start the draft now?
I wouldn't mind starting, as long as everyone calms down and realizes we have approx. 2 months until the season and we don't have to stress to get this done in the next week.
A 10 team league draft goes very fast if all members are present. I for one wouldn't mind this draft dragging out for a couple weeks, but if everyone else wants to freak out and draft really fast, then we might as well wait until 2-3 weeks before the season, then we could see what happens in preseason, figure out potential sleepers, and have a REAL reason to flip out everytime someone makes people wait for more than 5 minutes to pick.
Leaving a list is a good idea obviously, but we could easily go through 5 rounds a day if everyone is on the board in a 10 team league. I don't have the time to prepare and leave 20+ lists every time I step away from the computer, so if we start now, I say people re-freagin-lax.
alrighty then we start now.
