Title: Free Fantasy Football
Post by: troyhstewart on July 16, 2004, 12:10:27 AM
I'm just curious because I might want to win more than just 2 leagues this year.  8)

Looks like FF is no longer free at espn.com.  :boo

Yahoo may very well be the last free site for fantasy football. I don't know of any others.

the best value on the web:
$14.95 for one team
only $7.95 for each additional team

espn.com
QuoteFANTASY FOOTBALL 04:
FFL 5-pack (Five teams): $69.95
FFL 3-pack (Three teams): $49.95
One FFL team: Check Price

check price is 29.95 for one team.  :boom

its unfortunate that none of us know enough about computer programming to start our own website for a personal fantasy football league.

There are a couple of packages out there that aren't that bad where you could do your own site.  Even if you did all the programming, though, you have to factor in the stats gathering and players association fees, etc.

WAIT for the SALARY CAP league, it is FREE but will not come up until late August.

You won't even find it right now, but it WILL be there, and is 100% FREE.

Good. I had a lot of fun with that last year.

THis will be my 3rd year doing it, and each time it doesn't come up until about 2-3 weeks before the season.  The reasoning I suppose is their is obviously no draft.

For me it is by far thee most entertaining format of FF, you get to change players constantly if you want, manage the money.  it's great instead of being stuck with the same team all year long.
