Cuse won!! Gerry the king had 43 points and 9 3 pointers.
I have only missed one so far, but I could miss them all tonight so it's too early to be happy about that.
I just think it is a risky pick FF, but hey if it works, you can be assured that you and the Wake fans will be the only ones, and that will get you a lot of points.
I picked Pittsburgh, I figured I didn't want to go with a #1 like most, to have something different, and yet Pitt arguably should have been a #1 so it's a safe different bet I suppose.
It's certainly a risky pick. I just kind of went as a gut/hunch thing, although I have to admit that with all the Duke, UNC, and NC State fans I work with and live around, picking wake to go farther than all those teams is a nice :flipoff.
I missed on Charlotte and Southern Illinois. They lost by a combined 4 points. :boom
I missed on the S. Illinois by one point, otherwise I'd be perfect right now.

:yay 18/20 so far :yay
I only have 15 right so far, which is what more than half the people in our league have as of now.
BUT, I haven't had one team lost, that I have picked to advance to the next round beyond that, so I haven't lost my potential points yet.
There haven't been a lot of upsets yet which is why everyone is so close, but that will most likely change quite a bit next round.
Looks like my pick of Northern Iowa to upset GA Tech may very well have been ill-advised to a large degree.

FF, I WILL finish in last place.....It is my destiny!!
I'm in second for now, but after next weekend will be towards the bottom as I only have one team in the final four, luckily it's the team I picked to win it all and they are my only hope to not finish towards the bottom!
And to think I was teasing someone for picking Illinois :-[

hmmm. i noticed at the top of our league it says "TO Sucks"
whats up with that? :P
still waiting to find out whats up with that!
I was wondering the same thing. Either we get an answer, or we're gonna have us a good 'ol lynchin'. :evil
The league was set up before TO was an Eagle. :evil
I have 760 possible points remaining. Anyone have less?

It was a reverse-psychology ploy, employed to trick the Football Gods.

Don't worry about it. He claims second place as his own as if there isn't a 4 way tie.
Texas vs. Illinois and Pittsburgh vs. Nevada is about the only chance I have left.
It could happen...... :-\
wait a minute, that final four is not possible....I'm screwed regardless. :boom
I got it....final four: Tx vs. Vandy and Pitt vs. Nev. Its sad that this combo is my only chance. Oh, and Pitt would have to lose. Oh yeah, baby! I'm on the comeback now!!! :paranoid
It's all about Wake Forest.

I have between 1100-1200 points I can still earn....gotta route for St. Joes and UConn and Duke to make it to the final 4 ;-)
4 big games tonight! cant wait. go Oklahoma St! ;D

Looks like they hooked you up, and another one of my final four falls. :-\ Now it looks like my only final four pick left is Texas....thats kinda sad :'(
I now have 480 possible points remaining. Anyone have less?
Didn't think so. ;D
I have 590 ppr, but I'm also in sole possession of last place. ;D

SONUVABITCH!
We need a center w/ hands a guard that can shoot the 3 besides G-Mac.
Damn, I'm bummed. It was a good ride while it lasted, though.
Now, it's alll about St. Joe's!
GO HAWKS!
Gerry the King needs to learn how to create his own shots more consistently, when teams focus on taking away his 3 pointers, he seems to just give up for half the game and not work as hard to get open or something.
They just didn't have enough offense Korn. Gerry is still the king and will be better next season for you.
As for the contest, last place here I come!! :D
Well, Texas lost.....FORGET ABOUT IT, FF....I FINISHED LAST!!!!!

Dream on, buddy. I had them losing to UNC. :P
All I need is Ga Tech to win and Duke to lose.
oh yeah.....do you have a final four team left??
wow....first time i looked at this since it started. Figured i'd be in last since Stanford is out. I don't think i can catch Mikey, but i am shocked i did this well. ;D :yay
Man, I just looked at my bracket for the first time in a while, pretty sad. I guess I finished with a whopping 470 points. I have only one team left in the tourney, georgia tech, and I picked them to lose in this round. :-\
Better luck next year I guess. 8)
