That's awesome! :-D :-D :-D
:-D :-D :-D Too bad KGB replaced him. I think it would have been hilarious if Reid had chosen Rayburn.
Late for practice? were talkin about practice??
It's the Pro Bowl Andy!!!
I wish you would of sent Pink home 1 day before the NFC championship game! Good timing to get tough Reid :boom :boom
This was a dumb move, just sit him the whole game!!
That just made my day.
Beat up my franchise QB a year ago? Ha! Here's a plane ticket back to Tampa, chump.
Good move by Reid. The Pro-Bowl is already a joke, but some of these guys think they're king shtein.
Don't forget. Reid is a season Pro-Bowl coach. He damn sure knows how to handle his shtein in Hawaii. :P

I agree 100%. phillymic...it was a SMART move. Putting a spoiled, millionaire player in his place? Priceless. Rice obviously thought he was so important that taping "The Best Damn Sports Show" was more of a priority than going to Hawaii...a PRIVELEGE he got this year, considering the shtein team with the shtein defense he played on this year.
rice wasn't just late...he was 2 DAYS late! :o
good job, andy! ;D

Having 4 sacks and 3 FF against Nabby in the last three games didn't help him either. :P
:-D
Way to go Reid! :yay :yay :-D :-D
Rice thinks he was kicked off because Reid doesnt like him. :-D
QuoteHONOLULU - Bucs DE Simeon Rice said he thinks there was more behind his dismissal from the NFC squad than his failure to make it to a few team meetings and practices.
``I'm thinking that maybe [NFC coach Andy Reid] didn't like me,'' Rice told Sporting News Radio.
Rice's comments were made Saturday after Reid kicked him off the team for arriving late in Hawaii and missing several team meetings and practices.
Rice did not deny that he arrived two days late and missed several meetings and practices, but he said he did not believe his actions warranted dismissal from the team.
``I didn't do anything, I promise you,'' he said. ``I don't think he [Reid] knows the whole story. There is no reason for it.''
He didn't do anything? LOL...you disrespected an entire team of All Star players by not showing up when you were supposed to you, you jackass.
This guy belongs in Mike and Mike's Just Shut Up segment on ESPN radio.
2 days late because he was on BDSSP with Lincoln Kennedy all week...... ;D
Quote``I didn't do anything, I promise you,'' he said.
Exactly.....you didn't do ANYTHING, like show up for meetings, practice, etc.
Quote``I don't think he [Reid] knows the whole story. There is no reason for it.''
Probably not as I'm sure he was too busy tending to his business and getting ready for the Pro Bowl and didn't have time so turn on the tube and check out BDSSP.
Lets see him pull that crap w/ gruden.....not that I'm a fan of gruden, but I think gruden would give rice a look that would make him spontaneously combust.
way to go Andy, you da man :yay
If Andy tried a simliar look he'd appear to have to go to the bathroom.

:-D
yeah, like that i-ate-way-too-damn-much-chili look ;D
The funniest parts of the story are that the meetings and practices weren't what got him booted from the team. Of course they are the reasons, but when Rice showed up to practice, he didn't have his shoelaces tied. That was the final straw, and Reid sent him packing! Too funny. On top of that, when he was booted from the team, the NFL was no longer picking up his tab for the room and so on, so Reid essentially booted him off the island, Survivor style. ;D
lol. where did you read about his shoe laces not being tied? or is that just a joke. :paranoid

The last straw:
QuoteReached last night in Honolulu, Rice read from a letter issued to him by Harold Henderson, chairman of the NFL Management Council, chastising the Bucs' star for arriving two days late for workouts, missing meetings, creating a disturbance in the hotel lobby and showing up at Friday's practice with his shoelaces untied.[/i]

WiP was all over this, this am.
:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
That is some funny ass shtein right thare!
Alright after some thought and seeing this playout, I might have overreacted. I just didn't see sending someone home as a good step by Andy, since we hopefully are looking for FA's and he is the coach. Thought it might be seen as him being more of a pud then a disciplinary coach by the players.

Dude wouldn't tie his shoelaces.
And now Gruden follows suit...
He sent Rice home from SF after he was late to a meeting.
get rice!

He would be a monster upgrade over the clowns we have at LB right now.
He probably would be an upgrade at LB, despite the fact that he's a DE.
yeah, well, it's not like we don't need help there either.
Yeah!
I'm smart and stuff.
