I don't think it's so automatic. They've beaten Pittsburgh and Carolina and come within one score of the Saints, Vikings, and Falcons. Eagles should win, but this isn't the Browns.

Their defense has played well and if Howard/Cohen get going it'll make it harder.
Trubisky has had his moments but they should win this one handily. Their receivers are lousy.

Yikes Jenkins, just go down there, you weren't getting around those guys.
And that? Come on Jenkins.
Jesus Christ Jenkins
Good job, Jenkins. Dumbfarg
54 should keep kicking off btw
I really wasn't paying much attention on the kickoff itself...I looked up just as the ball was bouncing oob...but wtf happened? Bad kick or was he going for some sort of line drive that just took a crappy bounce?
And the BEars just ripped that ball right out of Blount's hands.
Goddamn fumbles
You serious Clark?
Iggles got the fumblitis.

Bad kick
Hey guys, how about just falling down when you're in the grasp.
Two plays where the Eagles have gotten greedy for yards fighting a pack of defenders and fumbled.
Another blatant block in the back.
Jenkins was definitely trying to do too much. Don't run backwards.
Blount I can't fault for trying to gain yards. He was going forward and had momentum. It's what he do. He just gotta protect the ball.
This sure is some ugly football going on here today.
First real mistake Big V has made in a few weeks that I can remember.
That was a great third down play
That's pro level qb to wr shtein.
McNabb would have ran that in for a TD
That's pass interference.
Oh wow
That might have gone somewhere if Wentz comes in and throws a block there.

He got touched by a Throwing Angel.
What Wentz does in the bedroom is none of my business.
What is up with Elliot? He still got cobwebs in his head? Not a good sign when the kicker throws up the wtf shrug immediately after kicking the ball.
Yeah, it turns out concussion protocol is a joke and he's still got a scrambled brain.
Just started to like Barner for pulling the dude on the ground away from the ball
Smart play pulling the down player back, who was that?

lol
At least he can still kick FGs
Easy now with the plural.
Still not a fan of Wentz rolling left.
What!?!
I don't know if this is Pederson's mindset here, but a challenge will take longer to complete than a TO, so he's actually giving himself more time to come up with a 4th down play.
Stupid challenge. Fire Doug.
Clement looks like he's on fast forward and everyone else is at normal play.

Nobody is that smart
Wentz there was. like:
"Should I:
Throw the ball away through back of end zone, stop the clock, and not get hit?
Or
Hold the ball too long, scramble, take a hit, and force usage of the last Time Out?"

That was third down. So his decision ultimately resulted in a TD instead of a FG.
Dominating
The Eagles are pretty good this year.
Defense must still be in the locker room.
Defense getting exposed, giving up way more first downs than in the first half. Fire Doug.
Doug can't stop them from jumping offsides every single play
D is slobbering for sacks, making mistakes
How's the offense supposed to put up 50 when the defense can't get off the field?
This team needs a disciplinarian coach. Where's Andy Reid at?

I have little doubt Ertz is still hampered by whatever was wrong with his leg...dude has looked way slower the last few weeks than he did at the start of the season.
Team is playing at 25% effort in the second half and they are still better than the Bears.
So. Many. Fumbles.
Team of Destiny
I can't believe that after last year Agholor is an important part of this offense.
Ertz is probably going to be done for the day and finish with 99 yards and still no 100 yard receiver for the Eagles

They won by 28 points and at no time was the opponent even close to scoring a touchdown.
Only previous game where the Bears gave up 30 was against Aaron Rodgers in Lambeau.
Ugly win is when you play like shtein against the Browns and barely get out with a W. They fumbled the ball and jumped offsides a bunch, but this one was over before the half.

unless they win 100-0 with 0 mistakes the DURR FOOTBAW crowd is going to find something to wag their fist at
they havent been penalty-prone or fumble-prone this year. likely a 1 game anomaly. against a real team it would cost them. but they didnt face a real team did they.
Now I'm a durrr footbawl crowd? You and your pops need to get on the same page
It was sloppy with penalties and fumbles
You happy with that? Do that shtein in the playoffs and see what happens
you are the definition of DURRR FOOTBAW
They played probably their worst game of the year in terms of mental errors with 4 fumbles and I don't know how many dumb penalties in the 2nd half and they still won by 28 points. Hard to complain.
It should be hard to complain, but then you have people like the Negadelphian anti-homer Jay
Yeah igy was right
MDS is now homer number one
I say they need to clean it up and it was an ugly win bc of penalties and fumbles and MDs is going full blown homer

1. they dont need to clean anything up. 12 weeks into the season you have one game where you fumble a few times and have some penalties it means nothing
2. the game wasnt close or competitive at any point. ugly indeed
i think wentz is going to tear his acl every play but sure homer whatever zzzz
They gave no fargs in this game and got sloppy trying to go big, but they also held a team to 6 rushing yards and 147 passing yards. That's kinda neat.

So Pederson and Blount saying they were sloppy don't mean shtein bc MDS says no big deal
I'm old school when it comes to celebrations but the defense pulling out the electric slide might be the coolest thing ever.
worst 10-1 team ever ?
Nice little controversy Didinger apparently stirred up. Sounds like he went off on a rant against Ajayi as if Ajayi was complaining about carries - which he wasn't. And now the media is on Doug and Ajayi asking if he was disappointed.
I'm a little curious about Ajayi. He's only getting a few plays a game. They love him on that off tackle/slant hole run but other than that they keep putting Blount out there. I thought late in the game would have been a great time to get him on the field for some work. If they just wanted to get Blount to the 100 yard mark that's just dumb.

I'd like to see him get the ball more but can't really complain about anything in the running game, other than the fumble which might mean we won't see him get the ball more than he already is.
it was a rant by diddy's standards, but a total non-story by anyone else's.

I think they're handling it well. Let the game, opponents defense and situations continue to dictate the rotation.
He's barely getting touches when it's still a game. He's more talented than Blount. If their plan was to use Blount as their every down back and Clement as their 3rd down back I don't see why they'd trade for him. He can clearly break long runs which is an added dimension they didn't have.
Well he probably doesn't know half the playbook
All three need to be in the flow of the game. Just like when they had Duce Buck and Westbrook
ajayi will get his chance to be the #1 guy next year, for now, get on board with the rotation & enjoy the the fact that you're not rotting away in Miami.

He's had a month including a bye week. It doesn't take that long to learn a playbook as a running back. Sure maybe he doesn't know complicated shifts, traps and passing plays, but a lot of the Eagles run game with Blount is between the tackles. Really it's just taking the handoff and finding a hole. He nails that off tackle/slant hole run. My issue is you now have a homerun hitter at RB...maybe he doesn't have break away speed but he has enough burst and size to turn holes into big gains. A back like that keeps defenses honest, just look at the Cowboys (and no, I'm not comparing Ajayi to Zeke), but nobody gives a shtein about Morris because he's not breaking any long runs, so they play coverage and let Morris get his 4-5 yards. Blount hits the hole but is too slow with his cuts and only has one speed so he usually just tries to run over who's ever in front of him in the secondary.
Also, now that Sproles is gone, I'd like to see them work Clement into the passing game a little more...specifically on screens. I'm surprised announcers still aren't using the old "the Eagles are the best team in the league at running screens" mantra they've been using for the past decade. Their screen game and throws to the backs have been severely lacking since Sproles was injured. My concern is their 1st and 2nd downs do nothing and they're solely relying on 3rd downs and Wentz. That might catch up to them against a good D coordinator.
I think they will work Ajayi in more. He's a talent. That said, he hasn't shown much of an ability to catch and isn't a good pass blocker, and I think that's holding him back at the moment more than his running ability.

Blount breaks some big ones also, and as did Ajayi, fumbles. Ajayi might not have the breakaway speed were no one is going to catch him but he's quicker than Blount. Cuts and has better moves.

Was he any kind of a threat as a receiver in Miami? I thought that was the one thing that set him apart from Blount but haven't seen any evidence of it yet.
I know he was targeted at least once in the bears game for a screen play but the pass was off and went incomplete.

No. He wasn't a good receiver/blocker there, in general. That was the knock on him.
