I don't recall hearing anything bad about Howard's work ethic.  In fact, I've heard it praised in connection to his glove work, which is light years beyond what it used to be. His throwing, of course, is still nightmare inducing...

burrell was super hot. done.

@ geo his throwing has gotten A LOT better. in fact right now id say its not even a concern. which goes to show how hard he worked in the offseason, but he cant get credit for that because hes not chase utley.

maybe nationally...locally while its true he doesnt get killed as much for his fielding you never here how he worked to improve it (like GRIT)...you just hear how he cant make the throw to second base

could florida have been better medicine going to the west coast then following that up with two of the next three series against arguably the two other best teams in baseball

the st louis and especially the boston series are going to be incredible
