its just maddening at how since werths homer just about every single batter has tried to hit a home run...the team IQ of the phillies is in the negative numbers...they are a bunch of meatheads and it all starts with the bumbling idiot of a manager

You could tell Durbin didn't have it today. He was off. Bad time for the BP to go in the tank just as the bats go cold again.

I really cannot stand Jenkins. Watching Ruiz makes me feel like David Bell is a Phillie again.

I really hate watching this team play some times.

yup slower than dirt and strikeout machines...the front office will never change that tho...they are golden as long as they continue to sell out the money pit and are able to shape a fanbase made out of dumb asses who care more about home runs dollar dogs and chanting "mvp" for chase utley in june while hes in a 6 for 1000 slump than they do about winning a title

burrell doesnt make an out over 40% of the time he comes to the plate. yea hes slower than igy but his bat more than makes up for it. he lost 2 at bats in extras today because chuckles pinch ran for him, unnecessarily, with ge off. maybe his bat makes the difference there. last night, pinch running for him get the phils a run (no way he scores on that werth hit). depending on the situation, you can run for him. but today it was just so incredibly stupid.

what they need to do is start werth and bat him second. he is an on base machine and a lot better than jenkins. put hacktorino down in the lineup with pedro phillies and the out machine that is carlos ruiz. also playing dobbsy more at third couldnt hurt.

Worst rain I've ever seen, everytime I said 'it can't rain harder than this' it would. While everyone else sat dry in the concourse my Brother and I stayed out in the stands and got drenched. Not entirely sure why but after the first 10 minutes it didn't really bother me.

During the rain delay one of the fans ran on the field and did a head first dive onto the tarp. Then he ran in the black tube the tarp was rolled up. Popped out the other side a few minutes later and was taken away.

Saw a Mets fan in Ashburn Alley with a torn shirt and a police escort. Got my steak, saw him again on the way back with a bandage on his head. Tried to snap a picture with my phone but couldn't. Speaking of Mets fans I thought their turnout was rather weak as compared to their usual turnout. Only saw 2 or 3 in our section (112). Didn't really notice them too much.

Sat in the seats next to the dugout during the RD, once it started to let up some funhole usher came down and said we couldn't sit there. She told this guy that was hanging with us to leave or she'd kick him out. He said you wouldn't kick me out after I just sat 3 hours in this and she went and got security and had him thrown out. Power trippin bitch. I hope she got in an accident on the way home. Dude resurfaced on the other side of the field 10 minutes later. They probably kicked him out and he just re-entered through McFaddens.

Werth's HR was awesome. farg you Wagner. I couldn't see the ball because of the weather but knew it was gone from the fans in the bleachers reaction.
