Whatever he has to throw to get outs, keep on doing it. He has been fantastic and Ed Wade has been robbed again. Its doubly awesome to see Lidge doing so great and knowing that little farger Wade gave him up.

McCarthy blows. He's a Mets fan and he gets excited when other teams do stuff.

Ed,

Any free broadcasts of the game tonight on line not subject to mlb.com? I cant see it because its on 57 and Peachtree, two stations not covered by digital cable EI.

Werth activated, Snelling sent out. If he rejects the demotion he will be a FA.

So Taguchi, still a Phillie.

What the hell is going on with the Phillies? They are on a goddamned tear.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Yeah, but he likes winners and finds Chase Utley breathtakingly dreamy.

Gordon and Lidge last night:  2 IP, 6 K's.

Lidge threw mostly fastballs last night.  The first two batters I counted 1 offspeed pitch and he was consistently dealing at 96 or 97 mph.

30-16 since starting 8-10

Charlie got his 300th NL win last night. No team in the NL has won 300 since Charlie has taken over the Phillies

Eaton's going today and again I hope for at least 6 out of him.

Really?  I know he's been relatively successful since coming in but it's hard to believe that no other team in the NL has won 300 games during the same period where the Phillies have only 1 playoff appearance.

Maybe that's just inconsistancy in the NL over the last few years though.

The other teams at the top of the list had a season around .500 or below it, while the Phils won 88, 85 and 89 games the last 3 years and have 38 already this year...

Phillies = 300-250
Mets = 298-249
Cardinals = 298-251
Padres = 286-265
Braves = 285-264
Diamondbacks = 277-271
Astros = 276-273
Dodgers = 271-277
Brewers = 271-277
Cubs = 269-280
Marlins = 265-282
Rockies = 257-291
Reds = 255-294
Nationals = 250-299
Giants = 249-298
Pirates = 231-317

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I thought it said NL East at first.....didn't realize it was the whole NL

Larry is out for at least 2 games with a quad injury

If you're referring to Chipper Jones, stop being fruity.
