That pitch only works about 5 games and then it loses it's sting for a few months.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

haha sweet. they are idiots for pitching to him and walking choke dog.

NO

yup. pitching to the guy who always strikes out vs. one of the hottest hitters on the team. hmmm.

i do realize that walking choke dog set up the double play which burrell can handle, but in that situation it comes down to who you want- howard or burrell. and theyd be silly to want burrell. and they were.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rockies are the defending NL champs, right?

QuoteStadium: Coors Field, Denver, CO
Attendance: 26,665 (52.9% full)
Game Time: 2:59
Weather: 67 degrees, clear

Awful.

Sgt PSN

What's their capacity?  45K?  Any team filling 50% or more of their stadium on a Tuesday night in April doesn't sound too shabby to me.  The exceptions would be the Yanks and Sawx obviously.

I don't really pay much attention to attendance though so maybe I'm off.

SunMo

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Think Florida Marlins all year every year

Sgt PSN

Just went and checked all the box scores from last nights games and there was only a couple teams with more attendance than the Rockies (percentage wise).

Boston - duh
ChiCubs - no big surprise
ChiSox - vs the Yankees

So it seems like the Rockies made out better than most teams did last night.

the phils attendance in april and may sucks too

I think those are bad months for most teams with the exception of home openers and weekends.  Once the summer months hit and the kiddies don't have school the next day, attendence will rise across the board.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Wow, if that's good attendance for a clear 67 degree night, baseball sucks.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

IGY is king of deflecting his dumbass observations, so I defer to his genius here.

Jimmy Rollins reportedly was found to have a break in his injured left ankle.
If that's the case, he may need to miss another four to six weeks. The Phillies have yet to comment, but they'll probably have to talk about the matter before the end of the day. Apr. 23 - 6:11 pm et
