It's odd how they didn't immediately put in the request for arrest warrants when Hamas raped, butchered, kidnapped and otherwise terrified Israelis on October 7th.

EXCLUSIVE: ICC seeks arrest warrants against Sinwar and Netanyahu for war crimes over October 7 attack and Gaza war

The warrants against the Israeli politicians mark the first time the ICC has targeted the top leader of a close ally of the United States. The decision puts Netanyahu in the company of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, for whom the ICC issued an arrest warrant over Moscow's war on Ukraine, and the Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi, who was facing an arrest warrant from the ICC for alleged crimes against humanity at the time of his capture and killing in October 2011.

By applying for the arrest warrants against Israeli and Hamas leaders in the same action, Khan's office risks attracting criticism that it places a terror organization and an elected government on an equivalent footing.

A panel of ICC judges will now consider Khan's application for the arrest warrants.

That was good shtein yesterday.  Was a little worried as Nats were playing good baseball despite two game losing streak coming in.  Despite Ser Excrement trying to give some runs back, great day.  Wasn't worried about Turnbull. Got to be a weird situation coming out of the pen now and especially with an 8 run lead plus three of the 4 hits were weak ass.

Watching these conference semifinals and two of them going 7 and one very exciting 6 game series, was such a wake up call and reality check how the Sixers are so far away.  These teams are so much better than the what Morey and Co. have assembled and whatever he scotch tapes togther next year.  These teams play better defense, rebound better, better offensively, better shot selection, just better period.

Also, Pro-Russian Slovak PM Robert Fico was shot 4 times by an assassin Wednesday although he may well pull through. Still, pretty good week.

I'd call it a coin toss whether Raisi's helo was just purely a pilot accident. Wouldn't be surprised if they find a way to blame the US, like with US sanctions they can't get adequate aircraft replacement parts (and of course suppress the black box last words of the pilot "say, what's a mountain goat doing way up here in a cloud bank?")
