I'll be watching, and rooting for three teams (regardless of brackets or chances):  U.S., Mexico, and Serbia and Montenegro.

I wouldn't mind seeing Spain or Sweden do well.

I'm specifically rooting against France, Iran, Italy, and Saudi Arabia.

If I had to pick a team I wish will win the whole thing, Serbia and Montenegro.

I'm cheering for Ireland as usual.

The U.S. has no chance being in the so-called bracket of death, so why bother?

need i remind anybody that this is friggen soccer we're talking about?  who cares anyway?

Ireland?  Uhm..I'm no World Cup expert, but I'm pretty sure they didn't make the cut.

Meh.  I'll still cheer for Ireland even though they're not in the tournament.

And by "cheer" I mean drink gallons of Guinness while I'm watching it.

MadMarchHare

That's what the Irish mean by "cheer" too.

Here's two different videos of the same exquisite play...respect!

Maradona's "Goal of the Century." no audio, one camera

Maradona's "Goal of the Century." audio, but clip switches camera in the middle of the play

Goal of the century? you mean to tell me thats the best goal scored in 100 years? yeah...I knew there was a reason I dont watch soccer

Diomedes

The soccer world is happy to count you outside of their ranks, I'm sure.

Root for the Aussies instead.  They too like to get excessively drunk.
