It burns when I pee
12:20 wichita st - seton hall - important swing game
12:25 wisc mil - oklahoma - oklahoma is a dog team
12:40 pacific - bc - need a bc rout
i picked wisc mil over oklahoma. i know there's always upsets, but other than that and San Diego State, I wasn't feeling any.
2/3 big games for me. i have hall and wisc mil as lil upset runs into round of 16.
the best weekend of sports in the entire year. i feel all tingly inside.
i sometime cry when they play "one shining moment" after the championship game.

my IT guys told me they would set all our office tvs to CBS today instead of the normal CNN crap, but they haven't yet. aren't the first 2 rounds all streaming on the web somewhere? i think i heard that.

wichita st going to the sweet 16 in the yahoo one
i went with minimal upsets this year...thinking that college basketball as a whole is way down so that must mean the mid-major teams REALLY suck
i have one pool on espn (no money) with penn beating play in game winner in the title. watch that ish win it.

BC won?
Yes
won and covered easily....im not gonna complain but god that game was so dirty
Dirty in what way? They letting a lot of contact go?
dirty as in rigged
they had the game go as long as it took for bc to cover
BC has no shot as doing anything in this tourney. They wouldn't have a chance against Nova.
They farged up today. I'm an ACC guy, so watched quite a bit of that tourney. They outrebounded and had high points in the paint vs. Carolina, by a lot. Not too many teams were able to do that. In this game: 5-22 from 3 pt? Their center wasn't the #1 scorer? They are tough to handle inside. Get them making rainbows and they're done.
BC has no shot as doing anything in this tourney. They wouldn't have a chance against Nova.
no way...teams always have early scares in the tourney and then make final four runs...dont know if theyll do that...but todays game has no bearing on what they do the rest of the way

i disagree, i think they have an even better shot now that they had a first round scare. teams that have an early game like this always end up going on a roll.
sweet, we just said the same thing.
I've never thought BC was even that good to begin with. Way overhyped. A lot of people have them in the final 4 which is a joke.
I have them in the elite 8 and let me tell you, I know more about college basketball than ANYONE EVER. Seriously.

I'm 4-3 but had Nevada over BC in the 2nd round. Keep in mind I basically picked the teams based on a gut feel and with completely minimal actual knowledge of roster strength. Go me.

Pretty zesty indeed. SDST had the turnover, got a bad bounce, and a wide open three resulted. Horrible way to lose a game.
BTW, 13-3 so far, with none of the losses moving any farther (SDST, OK, 'Cuse).
14-2 here. ;D

Hear ya, MURP. Kansas was a F4 team for me. Should've known better, they lost in the first round last year too. To Bucknell.
The Tennessee frauds are out. Wichita State is in the Sweet 16...
Anyone else watching Brad Pitt play? I know chuggie is.
Go Mason.
UNC out. UConn and WVU being tested. My bracket is farged, I hope everyone else gets farged to.
Iowa and UNC out from my elite 8. At least my final 4 is intact, for now.
6 BigTen teams seeded 9 or higher. None of them make the Sweet 16...
Nova holds on, 82-78
Boston College on Friday night, then the winner of Florida/Georgetown on Sunday...
Get past BC, then they should win the next game.
I'm so glad Nova gets BC. I've been talking shtein on BC all year and now it's time for Nova to back me up on the court.
I'm looking forward to BC getting rocked.

In the same city as Bradley even. I've seen them play a few times this season, and still didn't think they'd make the Tourney let alone the Sweet 16 (Sixteen).
Big Ten - 0/6 teams in Sweet 16.
SEC - 2/6 in Sweet 16.
Big 12 - 1/4 in Sweet 16.
Missouri Valley - 2/4 in Sweet 16.
Plus George Mason as an at large. I think the whole issue of the mid-majors getting too many in is put to bed.
I'm stuck here in Chicago watching Bradley, when I could be watching Duke LSU :boom

What's even worse, they couldn't even box out on the free throws in the final minute. TWICE!! Christ, the second time, the only guy left behind was the shooter, and no one got out in front of him. Complete and utter embarrassment. Reddick crying like a spoiled child was priceless.

Nevermind...
Gonzaga chokes again and Morrison cried like a bitch... :-D
Great ending to the WVU/Texas game too. Pittsnogle hits a tying 3 with 5 seconds left, only to see Texas hit their own 3 as time expired...
Texas is the team I wan't Nova playing. Texas can't score. Nova shot like 25% against them and only lost by 4.
Nice batch of games tonight. Great ending to both games, especially the Zags/UCLA one.
Anyone catch the shot of Bill Walton in the crowd? I started thinkin "throw it down big fellla, throw it down!"
Great late games. I have UCLA in the champ. game so I needed a miracle. And that scraggly mustache bitch helped me out. He looked like he got shot -- all that wriggling around on the floor and covering the tears up. Booho. Thank you, Morrison.
Great to see Duke out too. JJ Redick was crying too. Vadge.
Jesus, that's two teams that had complete mental collapses at the end. Duke couldn't block out on free throws, even when it was 4 on 1, and Batista for the Zags just stood there with his head up his ass until the ball got stolen. Awful. Kzrzyzewski should have annihilated his team after the game for that (I'm sure he didn't).

ALL DOOKIES SUCK!! THEY SUCK, THEY SUCK!! heh heh heh.
That is a great shot of that tool, cut your fargin hair.
Great start by Nova
losing 9-0 already
they are playing like shtein and only down a few. BC blew it's chance to put this game away early and now they will pay for it.
Thats what I was thinking when the Cats went on a 12-1 run. BC had the momentum and a chance to put 'em away but did not.
Let's hope Foye and Ray are hot in the 2nd half. And they cannot get into foul trouble!
Talk about squeaking one out. Nice to see old Rollie again. :yay
My bracket continues to live on life support!!
The one encouraging thing is Nova hung in the game despite shooting terribly through most of it. Have to give BC credit, they played Nova about as tough as I've seen them played this year. The Refs really let both sides bang during the second half and the OT, and Jay Wright looked more relieved than happy leaving the court.
What the hell happened to Mike Nardi?? Randy Foye saved their ass tonight.
I like their chances against the Georgetown/Florida winner on Sunday to go to the Final Four.

Boy, I'd hate to be in that UConn lockeroom tonight. The refs saved them big time. I would be suprised if the players came out with some arse left. Overall good close game. This year I think could be the best tourney play in quite some time.

Right, but they didn't. They were off big-time. Possibly there's something BC did right that Florida can learn from.
Possibly, but I hate BC and it's fun to shtein on them regardless.
Ah, so the truth comes out.
UConn should've lost. Jim Calhoun was crying like a bitch in the first half about fouls. The radio announcers were ripping him for the amount of crying he was doing. It was in the area of Coach K ref bitching.
Then they come out in the 2nd half and get a ton of calls for them. I think they shot 49 free throwns to Washingtons 20-some. And Roy's shot was blocked and should've been goaltending.
But that faggy looking dude Appleby didn't defend Anderson on that 3 with seconds left and when Appleby stole the in bounds pass he should've went strong to the hoop but he bitched out and then threw it away.
Washington had 4 guys foul out!
Nova got themselves a nice scare tonight. I was gnawing my nails pretty good on that one. Mike Nardi hasn't been the same since he went down with that tonsilitis in February. He came in tonight and then seconds later committed a stupid foul.
Allen Ray couldn't buy a shot, but a lot of that was just good defense by BC.
Randy Foye indeed saved their asses. And Jay Wright coached a helluva game. Did y'all see that stat in the 2nd hald that showed he had made 72 subs to BC's 7? Amazing.
Will Sheridan was almost the goat too. He got lucky after he blew that layup - it was GT though. Good call . He should've dunked it though.
And Kyle Lowry was all over the play. He is one tough dude. Love watching him play
Go LSU & UCLA tomorow!
I had BC winning lastnight but it was great to see Nova squeak it out. Nova hasn't looked the same since the Pitt blowout, I'd be really surprised if they made it to the Final 4.

I'm sure I'll be getting it tomorrow, just knowing I'm from Pennsylvania.
That Noah dude looks retarded or something. Put a Superman shirt on him and some suspenders and he's Sloth from Goonies.
He's the son of a tennis champ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yannick_Noah)
Noah blows.

i heard last night that Noah lives 40 minutes from the Main Line and Jay Wright recruited him to no end, but obviously couldn't land him.
noah is from nyc
he played prep ball near princeton if i recall correctly
not saying he didnt but i dont remember nova recruiting him at all
that's what they said on Comcast last night, maybe he used to live around Philly and moved or something. maybe they were totally wrong, i dunno.
well lawrenceville is about 40 minutes away...but hes definitely from nyc
i'm crumbling under cross over here
He said he's a Knicks fan...way back to the days of Starks, Ewing and Oakley...
his father remains a us open all-time favorite...the flushing crowds absolutely embraced him...thus he retired there

Anybody pick a team actually in the Final Four? 4 brackets, out of over 3 million, picked it right on ESPN.com.

UCLA only.
0/4 in the finals (Kansas, Duke, UNC, BC).
And the only guys who picked G Mason are either students or alumni.
i got the jokaim noah's
i was basically out by the end of round 1, and offically out when nova lost. i suck.
I knew Nova was going to choke on it, and I picked them to win it all anyway. No matter. I would have had G-Town winning that region of not Villanova, so I lose either way.

when i was three years old. i drew it with crayon. of course, at the time everyone just assumed i was autistic, but i showed them.
I'm 1/4 (Duke, UCLA, UConn & Villachoka).
In order to win IGY's pool I need UCLA to lose and Florida to not win the champ.

Nice, the final is going to be LSU-Mason so you win.
anybody have a link to that clip of the george mason coach dancing after the game?
Tennis Son won a title for Florida
Second year in a row Villanova was knocked out by the eventual champ...
Florida is the worst national champ in the last 10 years.
frauds
that big fat head wilbon is calling joakim noah the #1 pick in the draft now. granted, he had a great tournament, but he's not #1. i'm a pretty big college b-ball fan, and i heard his name maybe once during the season. couldn't have had that great of a year.
plus, listening to him talk after the game made me hate him and his stupid braces.

why, just because it means you were wrong all along?

I love it. Every team that I've been calling overrated is falling right into place to play Nova.
I can't wait until Nova exposes Florida just as they did BC.
Anyone else find it funny that the ladies final is tonight? It's all politically correct and shtein to alternate which tournament gets to have the later final, but it's still anticlimactic as hell. Does anyone give one shtein at all about women's bball?
Lesbians
As for Noah, apparently he told people that he doesn't like the NBA....
whatever the strongest, most vile way of saying 'no' is, i choose that as my response.
Duke/Maryland in OT for the NCAA bitches' basketball championship!
Duke chokes on it. Ha.
Congrats, lesbians
So, UMD gets housed in football recruiting in its own state by PSU, misses the show in men's b-ball, but gets to celebrate a girls' b-ball championship. I'm sure the students and alumni and really psyched.
im talking to my buddy from maryland now. hes psyched. seriously. he watched every game. i think he might be gay.
