I was on line outside of Radio City at 5am....waited in line until 8:30 when they announced no more tickets were going to be distributed.

Way to go NFL!

SunMo

and you're not even allowed to get in line until 5, right?  that sucks dude.

thats what they told us, but apparantely there were people in line from midnight on.

this would have been my 4th year running at the draft, and each year there is a different procedure as to how to get in. plus they never release any info about admission until the day before which leaves everyone scrambling.  :boo

Dude, you totally just bitch slapped me and my draft thread.  I am deeply offended.

Anyhow, Russell is going #1 according to ESPN.

You got the first post so you win.  Done and done.

Ray Diddy did a "best case scenario" draft for their first 3 picks, based on where they were picking.

He said:

1 - Reggie Nelson
2 - Brian Leonard
3 - Brandon Siler

I'd still rather have Tony Hunt over Leonard, but I wouldn't hate that draft

I think Hunt would be wasted in this offense.  He needs a lot of carries to establish himself; the more carries he gets the better he runs.

I think Leonard is a much better fit with the way Andy Reid runs this offense.

Oakland needs Russell. Pickin Johnson would be dumb. Even though he's a once in a lifetime pick.

Browns | Team to select J. Thomas at No. 3?
Sat, 28 Apr 2007 07:43:11 -0700

Michael Smith, of ESPN.com, reports the Cleveland Browns, according to team sources, will, barring a trade, take Wisconsin OT Joe Thomas with the No. 3 pick in the NFL Draft.

NGM

Well Michael Smith is really starting to ruin this draft for me.

Michael Smith needs to stop ruining all the farging fun

that must mean the Browns think they can get Beck or Edwards in the 2nd

ESPN is now reporting that the Raiders are "categorically" denying that they informed Russell he is the number one pick.

There is a 20% chance they will try to trade to the 3 spot and take Brady Quinn so the Browns can take Russell number 1 and thusly shteinting all over Michael Smith's scoops.

That would be 20% of awesomeness.
