I'll throw my $0.02 out there then. 

A bunch of athletes died, most of them in some unfortunate accident.  Wow.  How does the earth manage to still revolve around the sun without them? 

And I'm not saying this because I'm an unsympathetic sob.  I'm saying it because I hate memorials, tributes, etc.  I hate them because it doesn't do anything except waste my time. 

Keep your grieving to yourself, away from me.
