I saw STP 2 years ago at the MMRBQ and they were incredible.

If only you knew someone who could score backstage (heated) passes.

I was watching the Foo Fighters documentary and realized they've been a band for 20 years now.

That got me and the wife talking about Nirvana which led to Lollapalooza.  August 23, 1992 we saw Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ministry, Jesus & Mary Chain & Ice Cube.

The second stage had Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E., Cypress Hill, Porno For Pyros, Rage Against The Machine, & Stone Temple Pilots.

I might be old but that's a lineup right there, boys & girls.

Oh you bring back some memories Rome.  Saw Nirvana a week after they were on SNL at a little dive in Honolulu back in 1992.  There were probably 150 people in the venue.  Saw Alice in Chains a few months later at another small venue.  That crowd was out of control.  Ended the year with Pearl Jam.  That was an awesome concert.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

They're back, bitches!

No dates/cities released yet.  Saw them with Hagar in 1991.  One of the best concerts I've ever been to.

The popularity of Sammy Hagar is proof of the colossally awful taste of Americans.

He is beyond terrible.  I never bought a single thing Van Gagger produced.

So I got tickets. Apparently they close the SBC open air part off and heat the place for the winter. Good thing because I would hate to freeze my ass off watching a concert...watching a sporting event is an entirely different story.
