Former world champion Félix 'Tito' Trinidad and promoter Don King had a meeting in the Hotel Ritz Carlton of Isla Verde, Puerto Rico to try to set up a rematch between Trinidad and Bernard Hopkins. Trinidad, now 36, suffered his first defeat against Hopkins, now 44, in 2001. Sources assure that Don King and Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer are near an agreement for a fight in November. Trinidad needs to train for five or six months.
