maybe you should all develop actually personalities and interests instead of holding on to some fantasy of a football coach being a mythological god.

you all have real friends and real families and real important things going on. compare that to a fossil child rapist protector finally dying and then reevaluate.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Point out someone who's doing that. Better yet, stop being an attention whore and making an icehole of yourself.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

On the day Joe Pa passes PSU lands 4 recruits....one is Curt Warner's son.  None of them are major prospects but at this point it all helps.

According to Todd Blackledge Paterno died not of cancer but of a broken heart and because the media is a bunch of meanies.

I agree.  Totally.

there are so many facets of the "grieving" and most are annoying

the worst one is the people who are angry at the media for killing him.  seriously, people are saying that.

the football aspect of losing paterno has been way overshadowed by the kiddie porn goin on up there in the woods....how ridiculous is it that this guy who just died at 85 was an actual major college football coach less than 100 days ago...the secondary scandal was that paterno was allowed to run the penn state program in his state....the best part of his death is that he can no longer ever again have his hand prints on the program.....they can finally move on....

It was time for them to move on for a while now and i agree it is ridiculous a man of his age was running a big time football program....sad really.

They lost another one of their better recruits this weekend in Armani Reeves. He will now decide between OSU and UM. Urban Meyer is cleaning up on the Sandusky scandal.

cant understand why they would ever broadcast a quote on the news from sandusky regarding paternos death.

who the f cares what kind of empathetic statement that guy has to say about anything considering what hes up against? do you think they would have any other child rapist, murderer, scum of the earth, etc. up on quotes regarding someones death? that just seemed really strange to me.

as long as urban meyer is at ohio state they are going to murder penn state in recruiting...the scandal might have hurt on causing these guys to switch but meyer had more to do with it...think of it this way....if meyer is the coach at ohio state when these guys decalred they would have gone tp osu in the first place

Mushy piece on Paterno/Taliaferro situation by Reilly

This is a little over the top for me, but his summary at the end represents how I've always felt about this situation.

Paterno's anything but a "god" or a "grandfather" or any of that to me, but he seemed to be a pretty rare cat who tried to leave people better off than they were before meeting him - with the one completely epic failure in doing so of course.

I still find it hilarious that ESPN was so harsh in their criticism when they sat on that Syracuse audiotape for years.

i wonder how long it took reilly to figure out that paterno did a lot of good things prior to his epic farg up...brilliant analysis of the guys life which ive never heard before

you kinda gotta feel for all the good people in the world who didnt have that one epic failure as they are kinda getting overshadowed here
