When I fire up my fantasy leagues.
Russell from the Internet is correct. The season doesn't officially begin until the first pick of my first fantasy draft.
i forgot what board i was posting this on
You left an obvious one out...
When the first regular season Eagles game kicks off...otherwise it doesn't feel like football season.
i didnt think i needed to specify that all those things are when the eagles begin...apparently i was wrong
this place is certainly special
You damn right it's special.
Some people like NFL football in general. I have an unhealthy addiction to what is the poison known as Eagles Football.

Just going out on a limb here, but I think everyone who posts here does as well.
Draft and free agency are fun and interesting, but I don't feel like they are part of the season. They kind of exist independently. Eagles interest starts revving up with training camp and the preseason games, and reaches full steam when final cuts are made. From that point on, I usually have a sustained high rate of interest until they inevitably disgust me and ruin their season. [Except this year, since they are winning the Super Bowl.]
The Sunday afternoon of the Week 1, when I can go to a bar or even plop down in front of the TV or Internet and there are a ton of games on simultaneously, that's when I feel like football is really back.
The season doesn't officially start for me until I break my first remote of the year.
So tonight then?
No. Nothing happens in a preseason game that warrants a remote toss.

Most .gifs make me wonder what happened immediately before and after the few seconds shown. This is not one of those .gifs.
Opening of camp.
