CF killed my hard drive - that is incredibly accurate

I clicked on the link for this very feedback and announcements board last night, and my screen completely froze. Then, my computer absolutely would not reboot. Turns out my hard drive is the culprit.

Has CF been known to crash peoples' hard drives before?

(I can't wait for all the "only yours, because it hates you" and "you suck at teh intarweb" posts, so go ahead and bring it, sissybitches.)

My computer will restart, but for some reason if the first site I go to is CF, half the sites after dont work.

considering the amount of time you spend here, would you find it to be surprising that you were on the board when your hard drive took a dump?

Fortunately, CF hasn't done anything to my hard drive, but it seems to be killing my cable modem. It's been on and off all day.

Things are getting a little crazy now. I will do anything I have to in order to get every part of

up and running again by 8/1. From all of us with the "I'm important" graphics, thank you for putting up with this bullshtein for as long as you have.

actually question for the computer geeks...i still have my aol email acct and keep getting messages sent back saying a virus was detected, the problem is im not sending these emails to random people i dont know. I've run Norton and Ad Aware and cant find a thing. All of this crap seemed to start after the last time we got hacked here?
