I read thru this entire thread, its crazy how many people have come and gone after 3-15 posts

Go take a look at the member list and see how many people have registered over the years without posting.
I think they are all going to start posting over the next 4 days

Why I'm Here: Eagles talk without the 10 year olds crying to trade McNabb and any other player who sucks for one game. AR may have not won the big one yet but hes put together the longest stetch of winning years by an Eagles coach and give the fans hope at the beginning of almost every season that they will finally bring home the Lombardi trophy.

Comments: Philadelphia teams (except 76ers) fan for most of my life, became an obsessive Eagles fan after attending the 95 playoff game vs the Lions. Sitting in the endzone for the Rodney Peete rainbow TD to Rob Carpenter did it for me! That and the chants for "60" during the 4th quarter  Got season tix the following season. Lurk more than i post, got nothing much to say. Regret living in NNJ 3 years ago when i was snowed in from seeing the Eagles win their 1st NFC Championship in 24 years in person.

I'm here cause I'm bored and I love/hate the Eagles.  I lurk a lot. I don't like to type and I swim really fast.

Why i'm here: I heard the officail board sucks in its new format so i came to find out what it used to be like. and i like the captions threads :D

Comments: I'm going to bed, don't feel like filling this out right now.

Hahaha.  One of the first posts on this board was made by Munson.

That's great.  I think he was about 10 back then, btw.   :-D

Hey everyone. Just dropping in to let ya's know I'm still alive. Most of you know that internet access is perpetually an issue with me so these opportunities are fleeting. Currently residing in Scranton (still  ::)), and just moved again. Life is chaotic as usual, but I've learned to accept it and honestly I wouldn't have it any other way, cause I damn sure do NOT get bored. I wanted to apologize for my last post, which was a bit over a year ago. I was drunk as hell. I was in the Harrisburg area visiting a friend in the hospital, I was staying with another friend, had quite a bit of rum to relieve some stress, and eventually I ended up on his computer. Not that it excuses me, but i wanted to give a little context. I read the damn thing a few days later and realized I came off like some 3rd grade teacher trying to amp up his students for a finger painting contest. Anyway, I don't have a lot of time right now to chime in on threads, but I will say that Kevin Kolb BETTER be the shtein in the future. A new season about to unfold, and I hope Marty still has his say as far as running the ball and the defense steps up stopping the run.
Gotta roll.....Be well....................

Why I'm here: Because EMB is retarded, and because this is usually the best place to find out Bird news.

If you had said that this is the best place to find out you should kill yourself, you would have been closer to the mark.

ThirdStreetMafia

that too. It takes a lot a looking through piles of shtein. I've just somehow gotten used to it by now

Diomedes

The offseason is not the best time to come here looking for football talk.

Come to think of it, never is a good time to come here looking for anything worthwhile at all.
