The best match up that we could've had. The game opened at PK at some places and ranged up to -2.5 KC in others.
I'd like to see Andy win this. But if SF controls that line like they did today they've got the recipe to keeping the KC offense off the field.
But KC can score so fast they could negate that advantage.
Initial lean would be to take KC
2.5 seems crazy to me, I'll pound the Niners if it settles there. KC is better at very few positions other than QB and WR#1. That said Mahomes is about the best weapon you can have, his improvisational skills cancel out Reid's gameday deficiencies. Feels like it should be a PK or +/-1 game.
Both Shanahan and Reid have some Super Bowl demons to exorcise.
last year you had 2 memorable ccg's and a trash super bowl
this year you have 2 forgettable ccg's and what should be a really good super bowl
with a line that small i will not go against mahomes. hes the best player on the planet. this is andy's time leggo
if andy couldn't get philly one i don't want him to ever get one. go jimmy g.

hard to imagine theres been an nfl game this year that didnt have a PI call over 15.5 yards...if not two
QuoteThere was an average of 8.84 Defensive Pass Interference penalties per team league wide
average PI was 16.36 yards.
so its basically 50/50 if one is called and if it is itll be over 15
I don't have the stats on this but feel like they usually put away the PI flags for the SB. They'd rather err on the side of no call and hope no one notices. Gilmore got away with a bad one late in the 4th quarter last year.
I agree.
That's looking like a trap line. See 15.5 and have the refs shteintiness on their minds and hit it and then they end up swallowing the flags.
SF is a good defense and may be able to keep Hill somewhat confined without getting grabby
One of my fave prop bets is to look at longest FG. There's been a few instances where the game features kickers who routinely bomb 50yd kicks and the line would be something like o/u 44.5
Last year was the first year I did prop bets (though I might have on Bodog back in the day before It was banned) and I put $100 down on Burkhead for first TD since he scored a bunch in the AFC chip from short yardage and the odds were +1800 I think. Low and behold, Gronk gets tackled inside the 5 and they...hand it off to Sony Michel. Boo.
Gonna run down to Delaware Park and try again this year.

Its like anything else. Some people like to golf or fish or whatever. As long as you're disciplined with it then you can make money. If you do lose then as long as you're not betting over your head then its fine. I deposit fun money into my account and every so often will take the profits out. If i drop it then I reload and try again. I ran my numbers the other day and was up 10x over my initial deposit at the beginning of December.

Yeah I have been using them this year and they have been good. Bitcoin payouts take about 12-18hrs.
I like them because more often times than not I am on a dog so getting an extra half point or full point there is nice. They skew towards the favorites generally. Only a handful of times have I liked a fave and had to bite the bullet and lay the extra half or full point.
I've played golf for 45 years and I can assure you I've rarely made money at it.
😂🤣

I was able to use it as Bovada for a while but the website eventually got banned and then stayed banned in Delaware, probably because we legalized gambling "first" and didn't want the competition.
I live close enough to the PA line that I could prob drive over the border and access the site but I don't think I could deposit to my delaware bank account.

My vices are weak sauce. Biggest one going right now is I can't stop eating oysters.
Raw?
of course....11 so far today...not that I'm counting.
I got a 100 count on Friday...only a day or two supply left...sadly
How many times have you gotten sick?
Oyster Pub (igybatsignal) here in Daytona cooks the hell out of some oysters. They used to have a grilled oyster with jumbo lump crab meat, Parmesan cheese and garlic butter that would make you see God.
Too expensive now so they're gone from the menu.
They still do em up right, though.
Not raw for me. Can't stomach them.
Never been sick once. Greatest food on the planet.
I'll have a half dozen or so for breakfast in a few minutes here.
for health reasons it used to be a rule of thumb to not eat oysters in months that dont have an R in them but i think between farming transportation and improved regulatory measures thats not the case anymore...still i basically avoid them in the summer as even if they may be safe they arent nearly as good
i can slurp down raw oysters like a champ but the thought of them for breakfast makes me want to vomit.
I got a notification that some Super Bowl tickets were just released. I checked and they were gone but how is that remotely possible?
Programs built by the ticket re-sellers to scoop them up as soon as they are released.
i wasnt going to watch the dumb game anyway but the NFL putting hannity and trump on the pregame is disgusting altho not remotely surprising
farg the nfl
the nfl did not do that, it was fox and it was because trump wouldnt have done the interview any other way
the nfl not caring is valid
not only is the nfl allowing it they are promoting it
fox does what the NFL allows them to do
if fox or any other station broadcasting the game wanted to do a kaep pre game interview it would not be given the go ahead by the league
No wonder why McConnell said this should be done by SB
Bc they knew the interview was going down and they want Cheeto Dick to thump his chest about his "acquittal"
its not that deep
they want to do a pres interview every sb pregame and trump would only do it if his supplicant hannity did it. it went high up the chain and the murdochs okayed it and here we are. more than a propagandist conducting an "interview" with a fascist is the fact that nobody cares thats its happening

I'm up a lot this season. Even if I lose on whatever I end up putting in today I'll finish football season up quite a bit.
lol i always bet the coin toss too. i give zero shteins about this game so if i'm watching might as well bet props.
i have money on demi lovato wearing pants and not a dress or skirt. also the under on the anthem at 2 min 4 sec.
there's a bet on whether andy reid will be shown eating a cheeseburger on the sideline.
also got honey badger for mvp at +5000.
also louisville slugger nick is still the last QB to thrown a TD in the super bowl.

The Chiefs Gatorade has to be red, right?
Not that it's any dumber than most of my bets, but do teams really color coordinate their Gatorade to team colors?

In general, no. The bet is that the Chiefs would do it for this game.
I wouldn't bet a prop unless it was both at least a little plausible and funny enough to be worth throwing away money for the entertainment value. Nothing really struck me about the ones I saw for this game.

Outside of game related props the stupid ones I took
Under 2:00 on the natty anthem -130
Gatorade color red +400
Gatorade lime/yellow +450
Tails -105
Matty I ended up taking the under on the longest penalty we were talking about. Got it at +175
Under 15.5? That seems crazy to me but I guess super bowl is different.
Yeah u15.5
I was reading somewhere, Reddit maybe, and someone did the research on the longest penalties by each team and they all trended under.
Some people said Lovato's rehearsals were going under on the anthem l
The craziest was gatorade color purple got bet down to +110 bc people think it'll be a Kobe tribute

this is going to be like Birds/Pats, you better score on every series.

what happened
WEll, looks like Andy is gonna get it
The 49ers would have won this with Kaep.
Eagles legend Greg Lewis finally gets his ring.
Good for Andy.
The pure joy in Andy Reid's face was something to see.
Who made a bet for days Andy survives after this game?
the real tragedy is i had chiefs 0, 49ers 1 in my block pool. knew i had the numbers and couldnt remember the order. thought i won for a few hours.
send me hugs
I was waiting for the Niners to get some meaningless points on that last possession and blow up the under. That was the only real drama after the 4th down sack.
Guess there was some late drama surrounding a prop too:
QuoteMahomes' over/under rushing yards opened as low as 27.5 and was bet up to as high 36.5. Mahomes had 44 yards entering Kansas City's final possession. With the Chiefs leading 31-20 and 57 seconds remaining, Mahomes kneeled-down on three straight plays, losing 15 yards. He finished with 29 yards rushing, a costly outcome for bettors.
I won literally every stupid bet tonight, Demi lovato wearing pants under on the anthem coin toss a rod not showing up during the halftime show. Made two bets Re football and lost them both.

top markets for the SB.......good job san fran
Kansas City - 55.7
Milwaukee - 52.8
Nashville - 52.5
Denver - 52.0
Boston - 50.9
Minneapolis - 50.9
Philadelphia - 50.7
Washington DC - 50.5
Cleveland - 50.4
Providence - 50.4
Not surprising considering they don't play there.
because of the start time, west coast markets very rarely get top 10 of the super bowl even if theyre in the game. seattle wasnt for theirs.
3pm/4pm people are still out doing things vs. 6pm/7pm when theyre at home. simple as that.
kc had a 97 share for the last qtr hour of the game. which means 97% of people watching tv (not all people) in the kc market were on the game. thats just an insane number.
if your city is in the game and you cant crack the top ten then you just dont care that much
a normal sunday regular season game maybe a 330 start you gotta finish errands....the SB nah...you just dont mind missing it
I'd rather visit SF than KC. This is a fine data point supporting why. Much more interesting people.
And way more homeless people shteinting in the streets, but hey the Mission though.
I'm guessing the percentage of people who live in the KC metro who are native to the area is way higher than the same percentage in the SF metro.
They probably also don't have another NFL team in their Neilsen market.
There's probably two Rams fans left in Missouri.
