Philly guy and Temple grad. Just did a show last night and tweeted this morning about his up liking schedule. Sad my first thought, like Dio said, is drugs or suicide.
Those occurred to me, but at 65 with the lifestyle many performers lead, heart attack was first on my list.
EDIT: Then again, being subjected to Disney often makes me want to kill myself.
Heart attack or stroke out would be high possibility as well right.
Sad news. He was a real one.
Ronnie Spector dead at 78
She was the lead singer of The Ronnettes back in the 50-60's. Their top song of Be My Baby is iconic. She was married to that nutbag Phil Spector for a few years and benefited from his wall of sound in making them a big hit.
My coworker was at Saget's last show in Ponte Vedra (Jax). Said it was really good.
Saget also died at the Ritz-Carlton. There are worse places to go out, believe that.

Seven of them, I'll spare you their names. Two humans and seven cats in a big 1880 Victorian. The cats are quite cool, I've really grown to like them. Slows me down a bit keeping them from getting out or into walls, etc. but it's a time and material job so whatever. I'm not the one decided to get seven cats and then repair and renovate the entire house.

Subjective and won't argue your opinion. There are lists that have him top 10 (I'll post em if you'd like). My #1 overall is Danny Carey. Grohl is a top 10 musician ever so not bother arguing that point. YouTube some Hawkins stuff you might gain a better appreciation for his work.

Welcome To Rockville here in Daytona has had its share of ups and downs but now they've presumably lost two headliners (NIN & Foos) since it was announced a few months ago.
Taylor Hawkins' heart weighed double that of men his age as an autopsy finds the Foo Fighters drummer suffered a 'cardiovascular collapse' after binging on a cocktail of drugs including heroin, marijuana, and opioids, investigators have said.
Forensic experts are said to have discovered it weighed 'at least 600 grams', double the average of 300 to 350 grams, during an examination following his shock death at a luxury hotel in Colombian capital Bogota on Friday.
Investigators have concluded the 50-year-old suffered cardiovascular collapse after binging on a cocktail of drugs, respected Colombian news magazine Semana reported.
It also said authorities had confirmed the Foo Fighters drummer had overdosed on heroin mixed with antidepressants and benzodiazepines which are psychoactive drugs known as benzos.
Colombia's Attorney General's office (AGO) has already confirmed an initial autopsy carried out on Saturday revealed traces of 10 different drugs in Hawkins' urine, including opioids which can range from heroin to fentanyl and morphine.
In a statement, it also revealed marihuana and antidepressants had been detected.
He said he was having chest pains and was in Columbia so I assumed he did too much blow. He's spoke about od'ing in the past. Watched this interview with him yesterday, it's from 2 years ago but he keeps clenching his jaw, itching in random spots, and rubbing his nose. Reminds me of someone on addy's or needing a fix.

Coke cut with fentanyl.
Real hard to know if your shtein is clean any more. Test strips are available, but no one is using them.
Possession is legal here and people are still dying from fentanyl en masse. Have to legalize the trade to make an impact. Probably not much you can do to protect the people living on the street from their own terrible decisions but a you'd think a Baltimore Raven would be safer if he were able to score his shtein from Wawa.
All users would be much much safer if they could count on a clean supply. There's a reason Keith Richards is doing fine. His shtein was always clean, always the same strength, etc. Poor bastiches out on the street have no control over what they get...so they die. And that's not even to speak of the fact that so many dope addicts actually seek out the deadly shtein because it's the only thing that will touch them anymore, and yeah it's nice to fix but man if you could just get a little high too....

His name been on a lot of lips after Chandler's INT/TD the other day.
One of the nicest people I've ever met. They used to film Super Teams at my school here. ABC battle of the Network Stars sports version. They would have the two Super Bowl teams and the two WS participants. First year they had it was 1975 Vikings/Steelers from A's and Dodgers from WS. Reggie Jackson, Garvey, Ron Cey, Tommy John, Bradshaw, Tarkenton, Alan Page, etc. walking around our athletic complex. Unbelievable. Franco Harris was the nicest guy. Signed autographs, would talk to everyone. Different world as all the athletes were amazingly friendly and so approachable. Of course 1980 - Eagles and Phillies are here but my school was building a whole new athletic comples so moved to another school.
30+ years later my boss was good friends with Franco and he'd stop by the office a lot as he was in Hawaii quite a bit and was the salt of the earth. Just a great human. Was fortunate to have had been invited to a few dinners with him. He knew I was a birds fan and said he always had a soft spot as he is from Mount Holly area.
