A win away from .500... :-D
This is gonna be bad. Brady gonna curbstomp these bums.
Oh well. Fox29 pregame show is live from Reading this week at dungeon/basement. I think my dad's band is going to be playing lol. It'll probably be the most entertaining thing about this week
I'll probably be going to reading after the game. Does the dungeon have a post game party?
Munson, I'd even fly from Hawaii to attend an event at the basement.
LavVonte David not expected to play.
Waiting for "Tom Brady not expected to play"
Is Gronk playing?
Can they hold Tampa under 40?

Haha nah they wrap up when the game is done, especially a mid week night game. My uncle basically has to "sell" tickets at this point to keep it from not getting too crowded. Free of course but there's a waiting list. Folks basically try to reserve spots weeks/a season in advance now.
Gronk is out
So is Goedert; he's on the Covid list
IN - me
first game of the year via a work hookup....fully expect to bail at halftime when its 35-0
O52 seems like easy money. TB may cover that themselves.

Was thinking under. TNF games are usually lower scoring. I see this game playing out like the Chiefs game. Tampa goes up 10, birds fg, Tampa scores etc. Essentially Tampa stays up by 10, Eagles chase...Tampa pulls away at the end.
Eagles Chiefs game was 72 points lol.
i actually really like the eagles....not sure they win outright but definitely if you can get 7
tampas secondary is decimated so i think they can keep up and the eagles dont/cant run the ball and running the ball is what you dont want to do against tampa...game sets up nice for the birds....again not sure its nice enough to win outright but they have better than a punchers chance
brady banged up
lavonte david out
ryan jensen questionable
winfield out
gronk out
i think the o/u is just about right but id lean over just cause both offenses are top 5 in pace..plus like i said tampas secondary is super banged up
Also Thursday night games are historically sloppy shteinshows. Uglier the game is, the more it favors the dog.

I'm talking game script not overall score
The one thing I'd love to see tonight but I doubt we will is cutting down on stupid penalties. No more unnecessary picks on guys in the end zone, hitting a player who's clearly down and given himself up, face masks, holding, false starts offsides etc.
yeah if there was an O/U on WR pick penalties I'd take the over. At least 3 straight games.
Which of you clowns are at the tailgate? 🤪🤪🤪
I'm home with the kids while hot nurse Mrs. Diomedes works an 11 to 9 shift so not me this time.
Just ran into Ronnie 🥰
Soccer scrimmage this afternoon so may only get Q1 in. Have already warned the boys, parents, friends, relatives I will watch rest of game on DVR. Anyone mentions a score or outcome in any way gets a tire iron across the jaw.
PG appearance!
Eagles - 31
Bucs - 28
Let's goooooo
At this rate, I'll be good for bed by halftime.
I'm good for that already...I'm not even fifty yet and I want to go to bed at like 8:30

Come to our soccer scrimmage. Watching Coach Don in person is worth the price of admission, especially watching me apologize to the refs after threatening them, cursing their families, reminding them I know where they live, etc.
Hurts with a bed wetter worm burner
Philly Girl, you sure you want to come back in here? It's worse than ever thanks to 10 years of Phillies futility, Howie and Ben Simmons. We gave up on the Flyers.
He's got a noodle arm
Nice to see the other team making big penalties for once.
Reagor and Watkins look alike in pads and helmet
Hurts has one weak ass arm
Pick with no flag!
Ertz didn't roll in!!!
We all we got we all we need
Anyone see the Miles Sanders PF? Still waiting
Hurts under throws every deep throw.

Had to adjust my cable feed as I thought I was watching the wrong game.
Still early for Barnett though
Not sure what Sanders was called for. Nice broadcast, Fox.
At least Hurts' noodle arm helped cause the PI.
Exactly, WTF did Sanders do?
MUST GET LINEBACKERS
Brady throwing darts, Hurts throwing balloon farts
Fournette against the Eagles' LBs:

he just finds Singleton and runs him over for 11
I hate Jonathan Gannon.
Might as well bring pressure every play. Rushing 4 and playing zone is just letting Brady carve the defense. At least with pressure they might get him every once in a while and make him rush his passes. Not sure why letting him sit comfortably in the pocket is the game plan.

It's the classic bend and break defense...
Bullshtein that was a pick
They got robbed on the pick
Quez's acrobatics on the Hurts INT were weird.
I farging hate Jonathan Gannon
Davion Taylor is not impressing me at all.
Hey guys I don't think Hurts is a franchise qb
(https://i.imgflip.com/2v8dco.jpg)
Game still on, but muted. Listening to Dodgers-Giants instead.
Probably turn it off after Brady scores to close the half.
When your QB is good for maybe one read before tucking, help him out by establishing a run game.
Hurts is a backup quarterback.
Sirianni is a WRs coach.
OL is getting sodomized.
He can't set his feet before the Bucs are on him.
Sirianni is horrid. Can't call plays.
Gannon is he even a real person? fargin cigar store Indian standing on the sidelines calling soft ass coverage after soft ass coverage.
farg Howie and Lurie for hiring this traveling circus of idiots
Hurts arm is embarrassing
Had it on the tablet while I played some video games. It was nice to see they didn't get shut out. Who knows, the team might even be fun to watch if they get a quarterback.
Put Minshew in already
I don't even know how much to blame Gannon because their personnel is so bad.
Sounds like Buck and Aikman are outwardly rooting for the Eagles now.
The Eagles offense has like 6 plays.
Keep throwing those wr screens instead of running the ball working like a charm
Okay...that's enough for me.
Kicking a FG there in a two score game makes it a two score game
Every play there's someone in Hurts lap and he runs right and the play is dead
Hate this team

They pity the Eagles is what it is.
Guys, I don't think Hurts is getting the yards for his arbitrary stat thing.
Think the Bucs could have run the ball for 12 yards on that fourth down.
Lol at taunting
That ridiculous taunting penalty basically sucked the drama out of the game. Huge gift timewise and yardwise for TB.
Why didn't Antonio Brown get a taunting call after that catch he did the exact same thing
I'm sick of the stupid taunting rule. Goodell and Mara can farg off. Hoydas
That's not a call you make at that time in the game. It's a softbatch call in the first quarter, happening where and when it did, it turned the Eagles comeback from improbable to nearly impossible.
hilarious eagles cover btw
legit juice at the game to start and in 4Q when they made it close
sirianni and hurts are both just horrendous...i kind of feel sorry for them. they are college dudes in the big boy league getting embarrassed and its sad
So nice avoiding everyone watching the last 3/4 on DVR fast forwarding through all the bullshtein.
Hurts showed a few flashes but he's got a ways to go, a long way.
Sanders came to play.
Someone said it earlier but correct this offense has maybe six plays in their playbook and that's it.
Officiating is awful.
I love Quez and Devonte!
Secondary could have been worse, wasn't complete disaster.
Linebackers are a disaster.
Get to sleep in on Sunday!!!
I've seen enough of Sirianni. If you refuse to run the ball with a guy like Sanders available, you're a piece of shtein hack and you need to go.
Hurts isn't a pro quarterback. But he is good enough to keep things entertaining and bad enough to allow for a lot of close losses, which is kinda the point this year. Lose a lot and then pick a guy who is a legit QB in April. Plus have the two extra picks to shore up the defense.
I mean they'll farg it up because that's what they do, but in theory it's working out as planned.
But Mr. T-Shirt gots to go.
Marcus Spears reamed birds staff a second icehole after the game. Not enough Sanders and horrible job by secondary giving Bucs receivers way to much cushion.

Worst qb draft in forever. There's no first round talent. They'll either trade for a Watson or Rodgers/Wilson or if Howies smart trade all their picks for lower 1sts and accumulate 1sts for the following season and hope there's a 1st round talent available.
This about sums up the offense:
"The offensive coaching staff really has to go back and strategize this...to keep what they're doing is off the charts dumb" - Ray Diddy
"This is a high school offense they're running" - Seth Joyner

It's painful how bad he is
hurts is a tier 3/4 qb. hes like tyrod taylor but worse...kinda what you figured he'd wind up. sirianni being a moron is far more concerning.
It's so frustrating to think of the potential on this offense if they had a quarterback who could throw downfield and a playbook to go with it. Instead we get slow WR screen for no gain, roll out right and throw it away, roll out right and throw it away, punt.

i cant recall the wr but the 12 yard throw to a wide open guy that was two yards short cause his pathetic arm couldn't get the ball there was one of the most embarrassing things ive ever seen...like way worse than any bad throw interception
Was that the Reagor PI call near the end zone? What baffles me is he can't hit wide open receivers. He had 6'5 Ertz wide open on an out pattern and threw it 5 feet over his head to the sideline. Said I'd give the guy the season but I just see nothing that says he'll ever be a starting caliber nfl qb. It's not like he has a great arm and is sitting on potential.
no the one im talking about was around the tampa 40-45...the receiver ran a simple 12 yard route just turned around and was wide open and the ball hit the ground like two yards before his feet
I feel like that could have been any number of bad throws.
Quote from: TAFKASD on October 15, 2021, 02:14:03 PMIt's not like he has a great arm and is sitting on potential.
All he's really got is a great attitude, unbeatable work ethic, genuine leader quality charisma, a calm on field demeanor, etc. All the qualities you need in an NFL QB
Except his arm is weak, his accuracy is poor, and he can't process a read and execute rapidly.
He's a backup at best

I think I remember that one. I was trying to figure out if the ball got deflected, or if he just missed by that much.

Sums him up perfectly.
BTW I'm okay rolling with this dude until a real NFL QB with top 15 potential is available.
I'd feel better about this if I had any hope that it wouldn't be Howie making these pics and shaping the roster next year.
I have zero hope of that.
Yeah plus the qb class stinks
Jameis Winston, Philadelphia Eagle - 2022?
His accuracy sucks but he certainly ain't underthrowing anybody downfield.
Howie probably got his eyes on Bridgewater or Tua.
