If Utley can start to come around he could have one of the biggest world series ever.

Short porches get raped by Utley, if I didn't know any better I'd say he was aiming for them.

You just described igy, but its okay for him to do it because he occasionally gives you the backhanded validation you desperately need.

Right now everything I post is as inherently irrational as your posts normally are because in a 7 game series between two fairly evenly matched teams being sure of something, anything, one way or the other is retarded.

I just don't have a good feeling about it.  I have no problem with being wrong about any of this.  There is nothing backing it up.  When there is data backing up my conclusions it shows because 9/10 I will be right.

If someone argues with me and make mildly coherent points I might even change my mind.  I'm fickle like that.

You didn't have a 'good feeling' about the dodgers series either and that thing was over after the 5th inning of game 1. they might lose game 1, sure. but theyll rip aj burnett a part in game 2.

and what the farg is so good about the yankees lineup?
jeter and his singles scare me. oooo dont hit 1 single a game derek you man whore.
johnny damon is really good, good power, hits to both fields, great glove oh wait its not 2004 anymore.
tex has been useless in the playoffs, is soft, and is an ultimately above average hitter. yes he can field, great.
arod....gonna have to figure the other shoe will drop and he wont come through in the big spot. not that hes "unclutch," but that hes had numerous big hits so far and the law of averages dictates that hes got to fail. well, he fails a few times, everyone will start ripping him, and thatll be it for him.
matsui and his giant collection of porn? oh no!
posada? solid, sure. but hes not gonna win them any games.
cano? swisher? melky? they wash out whoever our dh is, feliz and ruiz.

the clear advantage the yankees have is rivera. hes a legend and a complete master. odds are you arent getting to him. but thats 1 inning, maybe 2. that you can deal with.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

And on the flip side Rollins and feliz had bad years and chooch can't keep hitting like this.

I actually feel good about getting to Rivera. What you don't think this team can do, they usually do.

LBIggle

both stadiums are bandboxes. so having pedro start game 2 against the yankees in the postseason when he has done exactly that before, in front of a hostile crowd is exactly what should be done. the situation for pedro alone should have him amped up and might even get a little more out of that old arm.  will he mow them down like the dodgers?  no.  will he give them a chance to win? absolutely.  in what could be his last start in the post season.. or even ever, i don't think there's going to be any let down. also we had an old guy in the rotation last year, why mess with success.

anyways god forbid they come back home down 0-2 they have cole as the stopper going in front of the home crowd to try and get them rolling on what will need to be a 3 game home sweep. if he doesn't come through the series is over anyway.
