Fairly dominating game from Hamels tonight.  Two hits, one walk, 9 K's.  Of course, this is the Giants, so...

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Cleveland Indians' Jason Knapp, the key to the Cliff Lee trade has an injured shoulder

Baltimore- Right-hander Jason Knapp, the 18-year-old whose potential convinced the Indians to trade Cliff Lee to the Phillies on July 29, had an MRI scan on his right shoulder Friday.

The Indians received four players for Lee, last year's AL Cy Young winner. Right-hander Carlos Carrasco, infielder Jason Donald and catcher Lou Marson should be in the big leagues well before Knapp, but the Indians said they wouldn't have made the deal without him.

When the deal was made, the Indians knew Knapp, 6-5, 225 pounds, had right biceps tendinitis. In fact, he was on the disabled list.

Knapp, after being activated following the trade, made four starts for Class A Lake County. He allowed seven earned runs in 11 2/3 innings with 12 strikeouts and eight walks, but his shoulder still hurt.

"We're concerned," said Ross Atkins, Indians director of player development. "The shoulder has continued to bother him. We'll see what the MRI says."

Overall, Knapp is 2-7 with a 4.18 in 21 starts for Lake County and the Phillies' Class A Lake wood, N.J., team. He has 123 strikeouts and 47 walks in 97 innings.

Donald, a shortstop/ second baseman, is on the disabled list with back stiffness at Class AAA Columbus. Atkins said he could be playing in five to 10 days.

Columbus' season ends Sept. 7, but if Donald is healthy enough, look for him to continue playing for Class AA Akron, which clinched a spot in the Eastern League playoffs Thursday.

Donald, along with Carrasco and Marson, could be called up by the Indians in September.
