I stand by the fact that Charlie's ridiculous insertion of Lidge in that game after 3 days in a row was why he failed.

He was starting to get his shtein together and that was a dumb Charlie move.

Agreed on that point.  Incredibly stupid move by Charlie in Pittsburgh.

so... howard didn't strike out and went 3 for 3... they got a run in from 3rd... and lidge pitched a perfect 9th.
