I watched the next generation of Phillies cast-offs tonight.  Don't know the dude's name but he hit the farg out of a home run to left.  It went at least 475 cause it hit the second parking lot.  The only other player I've ever seen hit that area was some dude named Burrell.

its a huge deal when the mets yankees or red sox dont lead the sportscenter baseball highlites....phils actually led the entire show tonight

interesting stat too...first time since 1998 phils have won a game down 4 or more in 9th at home...last time was the buccos as well

so i drove back from nj while this was going on but since they were down 7-2 when i left, i elected to let the music run instead of the game.

It's fairly amazing how awful the Pirates are.  I remember when I was a kid that going to a Phils/Pirates game was huge.  They had epic battles back in the day and now it's just ho hum.
