Any idiot who still doesn't believe that Utley is in the upper echelon of defensive second baseman just look at Phillips. Awful.

Rollins is playing like he did the year he won the MVP. I don't know if there's a manager that knows his players better than Manuel. His in game moves are questionable, but the guy knows which buttons to push.

BigEd76

Paul Bako with the speed that inning

8-6 after 5.  This one's probably gonna be double-digits....

wheels: "the spectrum just held so many memories...stanley cups!...lots of good basketball"

literally had no clue the sixers won a title there...if he even knows who the sixers are

It's starting to come together, pepper. It's starting to come together.

wheels hatred has gone down over the years. not to say hes gotten better but the "hes actually pretty good" brigade has gotten louder, especially after harry died.

hell always be top 5 worst announcer hof but i think hes been around so long that people are just used to him
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

BigEd76

How about Wheels pulling out an Eddie Vedder reference.  I bet he couldn't name one PJ song....

The Phils became the second team in major league history (2000 Blue Jays) to have four guys with 20+ HRs before the All-Star break....

Seabiscuit36

so, ESPN is creaming at the thought of the phillies getting both Pedro and Halladay, as am i.

They are not getting Halladay

They will get Pedro's 5.1 IP a night with an 86mph fastball ass and he will take Lopez's spot in the rotation and they will let Moyer's ass stay in there.

two nights outta five the Phils will hold live BP sessions for opponents.

better hope the offense keeps it up. farging Pedro...are they serious?

Another thing...Werth has put together a helluva year. But I don't think I have ever seen someone like him in the sense that he can look soooo bad against RH's at times but mash the hell outta the ball. He bails and goes to his knee so much that its hilarious.

MDS

Pedro was just brutal last year. He may have 1-2 adrenaline-type solid starts to begin but after that he's gonna get lit up.

At least he'll provide some fun soundbites. And it would be great if he pitched in Queens.
