look at it this way,  the phillies are the only team in mlb history to win a ws after losing their 10,000th game. 

and the cubs are the next closest to 10k in the loss column with 9561 losses and it will probably take them about 7 years to get there and another 100 to win a world series so it looks like the phils will be the only team with this glorious distinction for quite some time.

It's better not to acknowledge his disgruntled ramblings. Don't you know every team that's ever won a title in any sport is judged on what they did the next season, not the season they actually won. It makes perfect sense.
