-- CN broadcast will have no PBP in the top of the 1st

That's classy. Can it be extended to all the Wheels innings?

One thing for the Phils - they know how to honor someone.  Good stuff.

Harry memorial stuff:

-- crowd will sing "High Hopes" during the 7th-inning stretch
-- all HRs at CBP will have Harry saying "OUTTA HERE" on the PA system

Is that for good, for the season, or for a game?

I need more explanation.  I was leaning toward the opposite viewpoint.

High Hopes = just Friday
OUTTA HERE = rest of this season

Somehow, I can't imagine the Eagles honoring someone like this.

Classy move by the Phils....all around the board.

What are you talking about? Once Spadaro dies I'm sure they will honor him by continuing to publish barely-legible drivel on their website.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

By that time MDS will have swallowed his pride and will apply for the job.

I'd like to see it for good. 'High Hopes', sure it's a gay song but no gayer than Take me out to the Ballgame. Plus it would be different than the traditional 7th inning stretch which every team does. Love the 'Outta Here' after every homerun and would love to see that stick.

OUTTA HERE = rest of this season

I just saw that the public viewing will be Saturday and the casket will be at home plate. Something like 1230-3...

it's amazing how things change over time.  how would you answer these questions say 5 or 6 years ago:

who will win a championship first, phillies or eagles?

which has better ownership, phillies or eagles?

which has better front office management, phillies or eagles?

which is the overall better organization to work, play and/or root for, phillies or eagles?

just a few short years ago, the overwhelming response from everyone would have been the eagles.  now, i can't say that i would choose the eagles to answer even a single question.

Blanton getting roped in 1st inning.  3-0 Nats.

There must be less than 10,000 people at this game.

Nationals uniforms are awful.
