I've seen dozens, if not hundreds of instances where a guy went into the stands to catch a ball, got interfered with, and not make a total icehole out of himself like Werth did last night.

icehole athletes act like iceholes (Werth) & level-headed athletes move on to the next play without acting like faggy drama queens (see Alou's reaction).

alou screamed at bartman. what are you talking about?

you seem to have some kind of inferiority complex with athletes. they are just people, albeit generally stupid people, who are better at sports than you and therefore society elevates them over your apparently indistinguishable status.

at some point youre gonna have to get over it and accept it
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

overlooked in all of this mess was the nice pair of tits that were bouncing up and down after a foul ball in the 11th

So, the rumor is that the Phillies are "frontrunners" to "land" Javier Vasquez, as the Yanks will want to offload him after they deal for Lee.

HATE

Rome

In any other circumstance I'd be fine with Vasquez.

Lee to Yankees is now apparently a dead deal.

Sounds more like it hit a "snag" than is really "dead"...

Holy christ.  Could you imagine a staff of C.C., Lee, Pettite and Burnett going into playoffs.  Jeter, A Rod, Cano, etc. could take October off.

Who/what were the Yankees going to give up?

Werth apologized for his outburst saying it was done in the heat of the moment.

Chooch rejoins the team tomorrow.

Now in Rumor Central: Official of one team Phillies spoke to says he'd be "very surprised" if anyone pays price on Werth http://es.pn/bbcVLV

Valdez was scratched from tonight's lineup w/ a wrist injury

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

i would say blanton is pitching pretty much at the worst time in regards to them feeding off of the momentum of yesterdays win.

but basically anytime he pitches is the worst time.
