Mark Scheifele just about murdered Jake Evans with a minute left in the game.  Evans taken out on a stretcher.  Scheifele gets a 5-minute and game misconduct for charging.

Logan Mailloux got in legal trouble in Sweden for sending sex pictures taken without the woman's consent.  His legal ramification was a fine.  During the interview process, most NHL teams declared that they would not draft him, and he even took the step of announcing that he was renouncing himself for the draft (he was the 23rd ranked skater in NA and estimated to be a round 2 pick), and asking that teams not take him.

The Canadians took him with the 31st pick tonight.

Someone may have farged up this year's first-round pick worse than the Flyers... but here is their statement.
