I'm craving a steak from Dalessandros so I'll stop by on the way home from the shore next month

I haven't been there in years.

may have to take a lil road trip.

dallesandris is so overrated....pats is legitimately better...nothing wrong with that because pats is excellent but for some reason....probably because it's up in roxborough...it became some underground legend and it simply doesn't deserve it...it's good but certainly not worth the trip

i was there a few months ago. the steak is like grounded up hamburger meat. and roughly 20 minutes after finishing my insides blew up and i nearly shtein my pants.

im willing to deal with that for a good steak, but a chopped up hamburger doesnt qualify.

philip's on 26th and passyunk is great. steve's is very good albeit too cheesy. the 2 best options are john's roast pork and chinks (now called johns, or joeys or something). but really just get a pork sandwich from dinics.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

ate brunch at double knot yesterday...absolutely phenomenal and so cheap for a restaurant of such high acclaim...for all the philly area heads you gotta go

I haven't had one in a long time, but the cheese steaks from Chick's in Cherry Hill are fantastic.

i actually havent either...when i was young and dumb and used to go to mid town it was always crazy crowded

reading the article i found out something so random and bizarre that i did not know...carnagie deli has two outposts (i didnt know it had any) one is in vegas (ok makes sense) and one is in bethlehem (what!?!?!?)

There's a casino there heavily populated by New Yorkers... the deli probably isn't on some random blighted corner by a dead steel mill.

The Carnegie was truly outstanding in the eighties.

Yeah I have been to the one in Vegas at The Mirage.

Lousy ass service. That was where me and my girl ate for the first time in Vegas and I had the Vegas sticker shock. Two burgers and fries and two beers was $75.

Stopped by there one night at 4am and was one of three people waiting for food. Took 35 minutes and I passed out at the table.

never been there, but now I have a craving for a pastrami sammich.

Ha.  I would get one but the closest legit Jewish Deli is 250 miles south.
