Anyone had a good meal at a restaurant lately?

My friend told me about this Mexican restaurant across the street from the Neshaminy mall called La Hacienda. Every Mexican restaurant I've eaten at on the East Coast has been complete and utter shtein. I read some reviews on this place and figured I'd give it a try. Food was legit. I ordered shrimp chimichanga's. They were bangin. Chips and salsa was great too. It's BYOB. My buddy had a pork burrito and he loved it.

I'll be dropping my mom off at PHL in a couple of weeks so I think I might check that place out on the way home.  Been fiending for some legit beaner food since we left Cali.  I make some pretty damn good tacos and quesadillas, but sometimes I just don't feel like doing all the prep work and want to have someone make it for me instead.

on saturday in philly i went to the oyster house which has the best oysters in the country imo...but i also had for the first time shad roe...in the past all the roes ive had came loose and youd rock them on crackers or crusty bread or whatever....but the shad roe comes in a casing much like a sausage would...in fact it basically looked like sausage and was that big too....so you get a shtein ton of it and it was cheap...pretty tasty as well...a little like liver to me....anyway it was interesting

Just ate some good soul food. Place is in Philly...it's called Victorias Kitchen. We all ordered a bunch if shtein and split it up. Collared greens, yams, baked Mac and sautéed string beans were legit. Had some fried chicken, baked chicken, and a salmon with avocado with pesto sauce. Took 2 hours to deliver our order but it was worth the wait.

i went to the Philips seafood house at the DC waterfront over the weekend, i think it's their flagship jawn...anyway i was looking for the zesty restaurant thread but didn't see it.  actually the food was not horrible, and it was literally the biggest buffet i have ever seen. like bigger than vegas casinos. we saw a sign that said 17.99 all you can eat and had just finished getting baked so this seemed like a good idea. halfway through our meal the server told us that it's dinner prices all weekend even at noon. so just out of spite we stuck around and ate for about 4 hours straight. crab legs were not that bad.
