not sure if anyone watched last night but dinic's won adam richmans best sandwich in the country tournament...beating some hipster spot in savannah...it wasnt even close

a hideous version of a steak n cheese from johns was a suprise wild card but lost in the quarterfinals

but philly was the only city in the tourney with two entries

rjs will be proud to know that richmond placed a sandwich in the thing - 'the black sheep' fried chicken liver and cabbage slaw hoagie

The Black Sheep is an outstanding restaurant. Matt and I usually hit it when he's down.

They serve sandwiches that are the size of my torso, which I think is gross, but people love them.

johns is actually my favorite steak in the city

the one on this show tho had ketchup and mayo on it...in general johns is pretty good but could never be the best cause it doesnt serve wiz...my favorite sandwich at johns is their pepper and egg hoagie with hot sauce...god that shtein is bangin

and yes black sheep in richmond has excellent sammiches, they run almost the length of the table. although i have yet to try the chicken liver one that made his list.

just went today for the first time and it was very very good
