Probably not a lot of people watched this Saturday night game but it was one of those weird games that make baseball fun. In addition to Thompson getting the start, the Padres pitcher was wearing a generic "PLAYER" jersey after his normal one got ejected by the ump for being covered in pine tar, Freddy hit a double into a trash can, and the Padres stole home while the Phils were standing around jerking off.

Plus it was Ken Caminiti night so the stadium was giving out free speedballs.
