I'm plowing a girl who lives in fish town. Her house is on the market for $300,000. Kensington is still the same shteinhole it's always been. I used to work at my uncles shop on Frankford ave about a mile from K&A in the mid 90's before I went into the navy. It's gotten much worse drug wise. Heroin use is out of control. There's a few hamsterdams.

its obviously not beverly hills but its not the kenzo of our youth either....its changed almost one thousand percent

It's worse now. I drove through Kensington a few months ago, there's more hookers and junkies than there were in the 90's. They found my buddy dead in an alley, his car a few blocks away. They think he od'd in a drug haven then someone drug his body to an alley so there would be no issues with the junkies hangout. Just because they threw up a bunch of trendy bars doesn't mean the neighborhoods gotten better. Mid 90's we used to associate Fishtown, Port Richmond and Northern Liberties with Kensington. Those neighborhoods have all undergone a massive overhaul and resurgence. Northern Liberties might be the most hipster place on Earth. If they can clean up the drugs in Kensington - which they're well on their way - than there's hope. But as of today it's a disgrace.
