I know you've all been waiting to hear the big news (other than the site/board changeover) and here it is:
ConcreteField is proud to announce that Philadelphia Eagles WR Freddie Mitchell will be joining our site and holding Q&A sessions in his own forum, aptly named: "Ask Freddie Mitchell".
This forum will be opened for random times during the day and locked at others. It will be heavily moderated. Freddie will answer your questions a couple of times a week, starting this preseason and all throughout the year. The format is similar to the Q&A section on the Terrell Owens forum.
There are extremely strict rules for this forum and if they are not properly adhered to, you risk being banned from ConcreteField permanently. This is a great opportunity for us all and no one wants it to be wasted due to a few bad apples.
The rules are as follows:
1. Questions will be only about football. Whether its high school, college or his pro days, that's it. No personal questions, no saying things like, "_____ sucks, don't you think Freddie?"
2. Freddie is taking his time out of his day to answer our questions. Show him the same respect he is showing us.
3. Have fun and enjoy! :)

TexasEagle, the forum will be unlocked at random times during the day. When the forum is open by one of us, questions can be posted. It will be locked when the moderator is not around to moderate.
Awesome news! This is really a quality move, and a tremendous show of respect for the fans by Freddie. I certainly appreciate the fact that he is willing to take time out of his life to help keep us entertained and informed!!

FF wanted everyone to know that he is ecstatic about this new development, and that after passing out (where reports from people who were near by said that they heard a loud high pitched scream), he has checked out of the hospital and will be on his way shortly.

Just an FYI...Freddie just called to apologize but they had a team meeting that took him longer than expected and was leaving home to get to the stadium.
He will be calling me on Monday after practice and will be online then to answer questions. We will open up the forum again this weekend to get post game questions.
We were originally planning Monday all along, so when I talked to him yesterday and he said he'd try to get on today, it was a long shot with it being game day and all, but he really was sorry to let us down.

Also, just to piggy back on what Dio said, the :CF staff does a great job with this site, especially considering that it provides absolutely 0% of your income. I'm lucky enough to say I've been on board almost since day one and I think this place has developed into the best team related site around, including those run professionally. Since we joined up with F2FA, I've really had the opportunity to check out other fan sites and this one (even our old site) blows them out of the water.
Thanks guys (and girl) for giving me a place to stay in touch with fellow Eagles fans while I suffer out in the mid west. :yay :)

whatever changes were made in the past 15 hours or so made this board completely inaccessible to some browsers...specifically apple's Safari Browser. the main page shows up, but the board doesnt.

The system needs to be improved, either through a schedule of some sort or through a more organized question submittal process.

Coach is pretty even keel year round, he's allowed to let out some steam now and then with what he puts up with around here from the likes of me and others. Just like Gagne showed earlier this season, it shows that coach is human. I was beginning to wonder if coach wasn't just some software program added to the board to make fun of people and call us idiots. It's about time you do something else coach, your contributions to the board were starting to become redundant. :D

They are one in the same. Which means that they're both the same thing. So, I guess you could say that they are almost identical. Or, similar at the very least. They're definately not opposites though. That would mean they are totally different. And they're not totally different. They both have similar meanings. Which means they're the same.
