2002 - You're right of course, Eagles lost the NFCCG the next year, not the SB. Weird that Eagles are 5/5 on making the final four after playing the Bucs the prior year.

My neighbor tried to argue the Eagles were looking good at 10-1. When I went down the 11 games and told him they looked good in three games - Bucs, Rams, Dophins. The rest were ugly and lucky. 10-1 was nice but they were playing like a 5-6 team.
I was indifferent at 10-1. There was no way they were that good then. But they're not as bad as a 1-5 team either. Luck, injuries, incredibly zesty coaching and play-calling have all led to this. Their defense has been an abomination all year too. I still think they'll beat Tampa, but after that, it's curtains for this group.

I see them running in the same direction. Bucs have been dogshtein the last two games. Were lucky to beat the lowly Panthers, in a game they needed to make the playoffs.
If you widen the lens a few games more however, that team is pulling together and the Eagles are pulling apart.

Never seen a more uninspired defensive performance and a more clueless offensive gameplan in a playoff game. Did they even practice this past week?
