Title: Hey, it is an honor.
Post by: 44eagles44 on April 26, 2015, 02:01:29 PM
I'm Chris, I'm just here for Asian porn, so it's nice to be part of a site that dedicates itself to this and the Eagles, too (they both go hand in hand).

I'm pumped bc I've NEVER been apart of an MB *ahem*
Been an Eagles fan my entire miserable life.
Apparently I'm a llama, but I have the hump of a camel.

:boom

What's up bud...Munson, phreak, Rome and Ed you know so I'll skip intros

On this board:
I beat women and am an anti environmentalist
Igy is the resident overly civil rights guy...he's also contrarion to the core
Phreak is the resident homer
Mds is the resident Jew who likes to reinforce what everyone already knows...he's sort of like sal pal
Dio lives in the hood, drinks gin, uses public transportation, works a blue collar job, likes to read
Rjs is miserable...but he likes it when people pee on toilet seats. He hasn't come around much lately
Sgt. Psn hasn't been around in a bit but he's a former marine
We call hbionic chuggie because he lives in LA and likes to smoke pole
Sunmo lives in souderton...he doesn't contribute much but likes to chime in when he disagrees with an opinion
Phatty does blow and travels and humors us with stories of debauchery
Legends is a lawyer...probably wouldn't mess with him
Or zanshin...he's a black belt but is probably the most normal person on the board
G_F runs this shtein...he's king of the one liners
Munson is on a few people's ban lists...I never found him that irritating but to each their own
QB should post more because his opinions are generally well thought out
Like zanshin Geo seems pretty normal too.
smeags is former EMB antagonist extraordinaire sean_sec736. He's taken his talents to CF. He likes to puke at tailgates.
Seabiscuit is cynical yet like Geo and Zanshin seems fairly normal. He's married and lives out in bumblefarg.

Sorry if I missed anyone

Welcome man, I knew that screename looked familiar.

Damn, SD's list of active members is depressing, because it's smaller than I thought it would be :-D

Where the farg is Sarge? He disappeared out of no where it seems.

Well if this isn't a blast from the past. 44 how the hell are ya? Good to see you around. Hope all is well. You still out in Cali?

And SD nailed it.

Does anyone want to purchase some Xanax?  Pin?

Thanks for the welcome SD and everyone!
It's been a long time Phreak.  It was only the EMB, but the cool peeps stay in your head forever...
It's been a roller coaster but I'm seeing some light at the end of a long tunnel.  Me and the wifey created a lil beauty named Chloe.  My wife had a terrible bout with cancer, but she is tough as hell (tougher then me), and a survivor.  We're still in Cali. How the heck are you Phreak?  Still into stangs?  All healthy?
Munson, still into SOAD? (I think it was them).  You used to make me shoot black label out my nose!

I was checking out the roster of posters, unbelievable names in there.  Some I remember and some I didn't until I read them...it was a good trip.

I'm a total dumb arse- is Mike, SD that that replied to my intro?

Rome?  I'll see you at Broad and Chew St my old buddy! >:D

Bigs!!  Do you mean cross dresser?  I better not joke about that...it's the new trend..
You're like "the man upstairs" to me.  You and Herb were the first to welcome me wayyyyy back in the EMB.

I owe Mike (SD?) a big thanks.  THANK YOU, man

Holy shtein!  It's the guy who sold me cassette decks out of the back of his 78 Pinto all those years ago.

So sorry to hear about your Mrs but happy that she's surviving thru it.  And congrats on little Chloe too!

Feva (HOLD IT DOWN!) is here. He's big time at ESPN now so he's rarely here
FastFreddie shows up like once a year
hunt and Stevie stop by once in a while
Die-hard (DH here, best known for punching out a Giants fan) is here too
igy was Tha Ghost of Leonard Tose on EMB
MDS/Todd was MDS/mcnabb_defense_superbowl/DSP/Double_Secret_Probation on EMB.  We lost him to Texas for a while but he's back. Still angry and still loves TV, but he's back

:-D. Dang I miss ya's.  Yeah, the bout was real rough.  It runs deep in her family.  She is actually the first woman in her family to survive it.  Imagine the stress... Imagine my daughters thoughts- "ya mean your going to be in charge now"? :paranoid
I hope your fantastic, brutha.

Hi Chris. A little more about me.

My name is hbionic. You can call me chuggie if you want (I have no choice really).

I prefer sex with females but I'm down to party.

We can discuss any topic...but it will usually end with your mom being insulted, a homosexual tone, or hilarity.

I eat burritos and I am a white person...but they say I'm Mexican.

I like bees, kick towels that are hanging from door knobs, and get emotional about apples...bad emotional.

One more thing...I suck at thumb wrestling.

Welcome aboard.

Thanks chuggie.   I'm white and I'm married to a burrito, so that's what I eat, ya know?  I'm also bipolar, so I get emotional if I pee on the seat.  I also live down the road from ya.  You must workout?  ;D

I'm glad to hear your wife is doing well, buddy. That's some scary stuff and that she pulled through is great! I remember the old EMB days fondly with all the late night bullshtein lol

I'm still a mustang guy but haven't had one for several years. Just started looking for another one though. I'm ready to scratch the itch again. This time in a 2003 cobra. But not in a hurry because I have to find the right one. Nothing that has been ragged out.

I live in Houston now. Came down here from PA in 07 to take a job with a hardwood (not that kind of hard wood, Chuggie) lumber distributor. I hate Houston but love the job so here I sit.

Munson still wants to bang the lead singer of SOAD

RS pops in from time to time. I saw him in November when the Eagles came to Houston.

Beermonkey pops in from time to time too.

SOAD is still pretty awesome, minus the whole not releasing a new album in almost a decade thing. They're not my favorite band, but I still throw them on when I'm in the mood. They played a show in Armenia this past week on the eve of the anniversary of the Armenian genocide, which was their first show there ever. Pretty cool to watch.

As long as you don't show any emotion or try to speculate on things for fun, you'll fit in just fine. If you do either of the other two, you'll either get made fun of, or be subject to a 2-3 page trolling by IGY and MDS.

btw - SD left out the part about him not caring if man destroys the earth as long as he can drive his gas guzzling SUV and make coin from his fracking investments.

I remember Rome once challenged me to meet him at Broad & Chew St.  Lol. I love him.

I wanted a piece of rjs on the old MB.  Lil twig...no I have no idea what he looks like.  I used to get riled up all the time, still do...but I'm gonna be a good boy here.   :win

It went like this-
Old friend tracked me down (a cute lil girlie) on facebook.  The one girl I had ALWAYS wondered about.  She had me so whipped back in the day...complete ownage.  Then she dumped me.   We were 18ish.  We never saw each other again...almost.  I told the wife, she was okay (not ecstatic) but okay with me meeting up with her.  She was still single.  Met up, everything was cool.  Then she started texting me, then texting me naked pics, 1900 texts later (literally)...my wife opened the phone bill.  I had know idea that the number of text show on the bill.
She grabbed my phone a there were double D's and a pierced angina that greeted my wife when the phone opened...

Aw man....

I still like the deftones.  My music taste is all over the place these days...

Got into the alt-rock/pop punk/emo music of the early-mid 2000's...though some of my favorites only got lumped into the 'emo' sound by association more than anything else. Like a couple of those bands, like Dashboard Confessional, but mostly stuck to Brand New and Alkaline Trio and Taking Back Sunday type stuff. Like most people I ended up gravitating towards the music that was prevalent in my late teen years, which was mostly pop punk thanks to Blink182 blowing up in 1999 and getting bigger with their next two albums throughout my middle and high school years. Lots of pop punk, power pop, emo (2nd wave and 3rd wave), alt rock, and a lot of bands that were a mixture of those types of sounds on my ipod.

Still have all of SOAD's discography on my iPod though haha. As well as some Metallica, Nirvana, etc. Just reminded me that there's a couple Deftones songs I need to add...

He threatened to sue Rome and I think hunt too. What's funny is by todays EMB standards his brand of humor would be minor compared to the crap that's posted there now.
Title: Re: Hey, it is an honor.
Post by: Rome on April 29, 2015, 10:03:54 AM
he actually threatened to sue the eagles because his identity was revealed.  hunt and i ridiculed him to the point where he threatened us too, which i thought was the height of irony.  i mentioned to him via pm that i would be happy to pass onto his superiors at the law firm he worked the posts where he ridiculed people during traditional work hours, and that pretty much shut him up for good.  i had dozens of his more inflammatory posts stored just in case he ended up suing the eagles and i got dragged into it.  i always wondered which poor slobs got billed $300/hr for his farging around on the internet.

Bingo. As soon as the message board volume went through the roof over there, all of the humor disappeared (sort of the opposite of what happened here, volume disappeared and with it went the humor). But to be fair, most of the humor I derived from the EBM stemmed from making idiots and douches incredibly angry by pointing out how stupid and douchey they were. Real conversation wasn't exactly my intention.

People are morons and I've bored of pointing it out or being reminded of it.

I don't want Russel to feel left out so here's a trip down memory lane: First time I met Russell he reminded me of this guy I was at boot camp with, that guys last name was Plohockey. Then Russell spilled a beer and we all laughed him and called Sus "Slusqhuenna" but I can't remember why.
