Recently got a pay raise, so instead of investing my money like a smart man would, I bought a bunch of new Philly shtein in preparation for Fall sports.

Thought this as well, but at my work you can dress down on Fridays, so they'll get worn.
i love that coffee mug, where did you get it from?
Nice stuff. I'd wear most it, and I'm picky. Where did you get it?

I had to return the last Flyers sweatshirt because I bought an XL but it was huge. I'm torn between returning it for a L or getting this one:
how much was that one that's too big?
$75
The black one is $50
I have two other black Flyers hoodies. One is an old time hockey the other is one I bought from TJ Maxx. They're both 3 years old. I prefer shirts with zippers.
damn i like that orange one but it's pricey.

I got that coffee cup 2 yrs ago from the Eagles website. It was on clearance after xmas for $12.99. Saw that they added it back to their inventory this season and are selling it again for like $25.

I love the convenience of zip up hoodies vs pullovers, but I think pullovers usually look better.
hoodies without zippers are for babies and women.

yeah i hate how zippers cut thru the lettering
plus zippers scream preppy white kids to me
i keeps it gutter with straight hoodies
i do have one zipper sixer johnson that i really like tho
really theres no comparison....to me ones a jacket and ones a sweatshirt and I always prefer sweatshirts over jackets hoodie or not

I'm the complete opposite
Also what matty said.
yeah its way easier to just pull on a sweatshirt versus putting on a jacket
one advantage zippers have is that they go way better with visors

I don't mind it cutting through lettering nearly as much as if it cuts through a logo. I won't buy a zip up if the logo is broken by the zipper.
Quoteplus zippers scream preppy white kids to me
This depends entirely on the hoody itself. Plenty of rappers wear zip up hoodies. My daily hoodie is from the private high school on the Main Line that I graduated from. Is that preppy?
Quotereally theres no comparison....to me ones a jacket and ones a sweatshirt and I always prefer sweatshirts over jackets hoodie or not
Which is basically how I wear my zip up......as a jacket.

I can't wear hoodies indoors anymore. I get too hot and always want to take them off and pullovers suck if you're the type who might want to take it off a couple times throughout the day. Whatever t-shirt I'm wearing underneath usually comes half off when I'm pulling the hoodie up over my head. So just don't wear a pull over unless I'm going to be outside all day.....like at a game in Nov/Dec or if I'm working outdoors or something. Pullovers hoodies are great for that because they're thicker than most regular sweatshirts and zip up hoodies.
I actually passed up on a bad ass Phillies throwback pull over that was on clearance at Schuylkill Valley Sports last month for like $25. I'd never wear it for working outside, so the only time I would wear it is if I went to a Phils game in October and they won't be playing in October anytime soon. So I passed.
i have over 30 hoodies and wear one like five days a week from the time it gets cold enough in the fall thru winter...and i keep the heat in my house ridiculously low or sometimes even off if its not to cold out so i regularly rock a hoodie indoors
boomin like a speaker....with my hundred dollar sneakers...baggy jeans hoody and my beeper....keep a fresh cut never see me with a busted fro....and imma let ya know
you cant be in the hoody4life crew with a zipper tellin you what to do
haha I am the same way...once it gets cold enough here I wear hoodies just about every damn day and also in the house.
hoodie and jeans for four months
Yeah, but you live in Texas where hoodies are part of the standard birthing issue. Oh wait....wrong hoodie.
Hoodies are the shtein. I'm like chicks with shoes when it comes to hoodies, I get 2 or 3 new ones every time it turns to September.

Yeah, except here it's 6 months. Also when all of you are in your house, strongly recommend putting sweatpants on right after they come out of the dryer.

I was off on the price....it was $75 on sale for 50% off, so $37.50 is what they wanted for it. I mention this because I went back into that SVS yesterday morning and they had reduced it to $29.99, so I decided to get it. The one I really wanted was a powder blue with red letters, but they didn't have it in my size. They had a medium though and it fit squaw, so I got that for her and I got a dark gray for me.

Nike was sooo huge in the 70's.
fansedge is having a 40% off sale on all sale items, picked this up for $29.99, originally $65

They're marketing this as "Vintage" and pricing it at 3 bills. It's hard to farg up 76ers uniforms because the color schemes and logo is money but they managed it with this mess

Those socks are the butter that goes with my toe jam. I'd never wear them myself because farg anything besides black or white socks, but I wouldn't mock anyone for wearing them.
Just an FYI, if you received an offer from Target for free credit monitoring for a year it's not a scam

I got it which means my shtein was compromised. I signed up for the free credit monitoring service, changed my passwords etc.
Normally I am a Target shopped because I loathe Wal-Mart but I hadn't been there in awhile. I have to go this weekend and I will be paying in cash.
I got that email as well. I haven't had any problems yet, but I may take them up on that offer. I don't even think I shopped at Target during the suspected period of breach, but maybe I did and just forgot.
When does Mitchell & Ness update their inventory? I'm looking for a kelly green Byron Evans, Seth Joyner or Eric Allen and they don't have shtein on line right now

My boss was a victim...they bought $75 worth of Chinese food in Florida and a bunch of stuff in Vegas. He was reimbursed for everything.
Munsons $56.86 in available credit really limited the damage that they could do.
:-D

Ok thanks.
BTW - I am getting a malware warning on this thread.
Would be hilarious if that Target letter SD posted was sucking all our personal info outta here
as i suspected j....they are focusing more on hats and sweatshirts now.....not jerseys...dont expect to see lesser name players on any m&n jerseys anytime soon or ever
the flagship does have this awesome 75% off room now.....i got this jacket and hat for 40 bucks...they also had some insanely cool baseball hats for 10 farging dollars but they were snap backs which i dont do....however if thats your thing the price was insane

Thanks man. That sucks about the jersey's because that is where they made their mark...with throwbacks that were legit good quality. I wonder why they changed? Too much cost with producing jersey's?
I haven't worn a snapback hat since I was about 13 and in summer league baseball. I refuse to wear anything other than fitted.
they changed because people arent buying jerseys as much these days much less 300 dollar authentics....its all about the papes...when it becomes popular again they will start cranking out jerseys
Yeah....crappy economy in recent years + $300 jerseys = major drop off in sales.
I'm also wondering if there wasn't any sort of backlash from NFL owners too. You know Jeffrey has to die a little inside every time he sees someone in a Kelly green Joyner or Randall johnson at the game instead of rocking modern Eagles Midnight green legends like Todd Pinkston or Jason Babin. Even though M&N pays for licensing, so owners still get a cut, I can't imagine Lurie is thrilled when he sees throwbacks flying off the shelves while his product is collecting dust. Gotta figure some other owners who have made uni changes over the years might feel the same way.
its not the owners....if anything they want the jerseys to blow up again as its big money in their pockets....plus its not like they dont sell throwback jerseys anymore....they just arent going deep with them and putting non legends on the back.....randall jaworski and reggie are still being pimped....just not seth byron and wes

I can buy a M&N knock off for $25. The ones I bought years ago from China are still in great condition and they look close enough that most people not named havas can't tell the difference.
