how the hell is seattle #1?? there are few venues in any sport louder than qwest, and mariners fans were great during the griffey era..granted, they lost their nba team but that was clay bennets fault, not the citys. that list sucks.

I like the comments where you have all these fans arguing about why MLS championships don't count.

QuoteThe list, released Monday, is not a direct reflection of futility but rather a "sports heartbreak index" that identifies the city in which fans had teams good enough to give them hope, only to ultimately let them down.

Forbes staff must be bored.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

believe it or not, the sounders make more money on the business side of sports than most of the teams in the four major sports..

It a town like Seattle, that doesn't surprise me one bit.  Seattle has a very "European" look and feel to it, so it would be fitting that a professional soccer team would do well in that area.

ice grillin you

is european in quotes because you really mean it has a vaginal look and feel to it
